      the 2178 has both a non stick and a stainless steel bowl, it’s one of the reason i previously bought one from bing lee ……very few have a stainless steel bowl.

    there's pressure cooker function on the phillips, for those that do more than rice or slow cooking e.g fast taco meat with pressure function.

    own rice cookers, there multifuction pressure cookers do a lot more if you are in a hurry.
