  I bought the DOSS Soundbox XL based on the stellar reviews from the clavinetjunkie youtube channel - for the money, this thing is pretty damn amazing, with deep and yet strangely natural bass.

  On that channel there are many, many comparisons between that and other speakers. Just wear some nice headphones so you can experience the greatness of the binaural microphone recorded videos.

  Delivered today after ordering at the end of last week. Standard Amazon packaging.

  There's nothing fancy about the speaker at all - it just sounds awesome.

  It doesn't feel terribly well built - just a bunch of plastic and very un-fancy buttons but definitely won't fall apart just by looking at it.

  Speaker volume isn't synced to the source volume.

  Haven't really put it through its paces yet, so I can't say anything about battery life.

  Very, very pleased so far - incredible for just over a hundred bucks.
