In Response to Cheapskateasian,
This is NOT an IPO and not a SCAM - if you cancel before we order ahead, we will reimburse the amount 100%. The credit card payment is here for your peace of mind (better than asking you to deposit in our Business Account)

We will deliver if you place an order through us. There is no requirement to meet a certain target. Every order will be delivered.

Let us know how can we convince you that this is not a scam. 100% money back guarantee if not delivered or delivered beyond our delivery date.

Anyways, have a great day ahead and remember, every company starts some-place and this is where we decided to start.

Cheers,

  • "the restaurant is currently closed - you will be requested to enter a date and time for the order at the Check-out"

    • Please ignore that - I will fix this up shortly.

  • insane discounts!!! more LIKE????? 2% discount aint insane. only thing insane is ur business model! not worth the bother!

    • +2

2% off a coles card is like 2% off cash.

If you spend $200/week at coles that 2% will save you $200/year. But are there delivery charges?

I have a way to get 2% off supermarket cards at any time but they take so long to ship them them that cash-flow and interest opportunity cost issues start to creep in.

      • The service charges are for delivery through registered post to avoid any loss of mail.

        Thanks,

      • entertainment book gives 5% off

  • +1

So to summarise, the deal is 2% off of Gift cards to retailers

Or you could just use Infiniterewards or similar sites and get 5% off cards.

Then there's Cardnap, Cardlimbo and of course EBAY

    EDIT: Cardlimbo deals

    EDIT2: Not even 2%, a $200 Coles Myer card costs $197.80 (1.1% off)

    • cardlimbo has coles cards. depending on your spending habits, 4% off is better than nothing. but it hardly seems worth the effort to save $5 off $200 (and wait 20 days).

      • We are planning to reduce the delivery time to 10 working days post 21-Feb-2011.

      • whoops, in my previous post i meant to say cardlimbo never has coles cards

Looks like we've all just been delivered our first meal….SPAM.

    • But when I am drunk I can stomach some SPAM. I am currently drunk and can't handle that web site!!

    • LOL funny as

  • Spam

  • We will be able to offer further discounts and add Officeworks and Coles Express Gift Cards as soon as we reach our target of 600,000 AUD.

    Good luck with that.

  • wow, you started with "Keeping it short and simple" but rapidly got long & confusing.

As far as I can make out, you're asking people to send you money, then in 3 weeks time you'll give the money back as a gift card with a 2% bonus…if you're still in business.

Sonuds more like Spam or a Scam than a deal.

    • If you pre-order, we will contact you to deduct the payment from your credit card (without storing information) so that you are secure. We will deliver the cards based on your order.

If we do not deliver, you can always lodge a claim with the Credit Card company as a dispute and get your money back.

      • Woah. Telling people that you want to pay money to you that "you can always lodge a claim with the Credit Card company as a dispute and get your money back" should have every person's alarm bells ringing.

That is a scary statement to make!

  • This is pure spam and totally useless

    • i think that is a bit harsh. people were getting excited about 3% off on orders over $100 on dealextreme not long ago and somehow that got 32 votes :)

  • Hi Fred0000.

What's the ABN for this entity?

    • 39181065067

    • you can get that from the whois info for the domain.

      • or he could just ask as he did.

        • yes, but in general for .com.au domains, it easy to lookup abn from whois info then use the abr lookup website to lookup the abn info.

  • SPAM To the bin with this deal

  • well at least a quick check of whois shows it aint some china scam

  • This sounds like an IPO. This guy is trying to raise capital for his business and seeks investors. In return he will provide investors with gift cards IFF (if and only if) his target capital requirement is met.

And if it's not, do the investors get their money back?

Seems like a get rich quick scam. The company has no credentials either…

Furthermore, who the heck would want a personal courier service for food?? most restaurants offer home delivery either directly or through menulog. One must be really f'ing lazy and rich to bother with a personal food courier service. I can't even imagine someone wanting appetizers at one restaurant, mains at another restaurant, and dessert from another restaurant, all delivered to them….

  • Guys, I should tell you having an ABN doesn't mean anything. Anyone can apply for an ABN and receive one in about 30 mins online. I personally have an ABN.

    • true, but i'd feel safer doing financial transactions with someone registered for an abn than some dodgy chinese wholesaler over in hong kong or shenzen (which lots of people happily seem to do).

    • True, but the fact they haven't divulged it publicly on the website was a concern. Especially for a company asking for payment before supply.

  • Hmm….Not a bad service….definitely worth trying….
