Purchasing tickets on Ticketmaster

We are in a process of book a session of Book of Mormom next week and can only find one place to buy few tickets via Ticketmaster. The show aren't cheap already and plus on top the fees.
Is there way to book the tickets without paying fees from ticketmaster? And it is that we can use Ticketmaster gift cards to buy these tickets?

perhaps it would be better to find yourself than judge others, discount or not.

  • No, usually there is only 1 ticket provider so you will have to pay the fees, unless you can find someone on ebay or gumtree selling for cheaper. Typically a major venue will have an exclusive agreement to sell tickets with only one vendor.

Never used a ticketmaster giftcard myself but of course, what else could you use it for?

If you have Flybuys, there's 2000 bonus points if you buy a $50 Ticketmaster gift card starting Wednesday.

Also make sure you keep the gift card until you attend the play.

Towards the end of its showing in Melbourne, tickets would go down to about $60-70 (can check on ozbargain) for excellent seats (usually $150-170). For this reason, I went twice and loved the show both times. If you can wait, this may happen also for Sydney. But in answering your question, I think Ticketmaster is the only platform to purchase the tickets officially

If you are using gift cards and paying for a few tickets, bear in mind there is a limit to the number of gift cards that can be used in one transaction. IIRC it is 5, but please check into this. It may influence the number and denomination of gift cards you want to get to use for the purchase.
