My Lollies - Low Price Discounted Sweets from 10c a bag Plus Shipping

58

Hi Guys

Just received a big box of sweets that I ordered from these guys (we are not affiliated in any way) and the quality is excellent! The Zoogles are past their expiry date but are decent and priced to move at 10 cents a bag. Sour Cola Bottles FTW!

Fast shipping also.

Shipping was only $5.50 in Melbuorne for a massive box and pick up is fine according to their website.

Best before dates of 3 years ago !!! No thanks…

    • Ha - they taste fine. Its a 'best' before date. :) The cola bottles are really good. Super soft.

The cola bottles are really good. Super soft.

        They're not 10c though, they're $3.52 + $5.50 shipping = $9.02

I'm pretty sure i can get a bag of cola lollies for less than that elsewhere…

        • +2

You can buy the 1.1kg Sour Cola Tubs from Big W for $8.86.

          Edit: changed to correct price

Post states 'from 10c'. Where can you get a kg of cola lollies for less?

        • -1

You can pick up a bag of colas from this place for 3.52 which beats Big W pricing. $0 for pick up.

        • Agreed warcom, if you can get them $3.52 delivered then bargain. I was replying to jv's post about the $5.50 shipping.

    • Best before dates of 3 years ago !!! No thanks…

      "extra hard" :)

      made in china as well?

      • made in china as well?

that would be ironic if they were, with Steve Irwin travelling the world to promote Australia….

      • so are gummy lollies like cakes and go hard when stale, or are they like cookies and go soft when stale?

Slight chemical smell when opening bag (Zoogles), okay maybe not the best post but interesting none the less :)

Slight chemical smell when opening bag (Zoogles)

Probably because when they were manufactured would have been before Stever Irwin died, ie. prior to September 2006…. Ewwwwwww!!! :P

      • lol. Yes not the best post but I leave it up to you guys to decide if you want to buy or not. We did. We're happy with the product. :)

        • expect a free bag of lollies with every warcom purchase from now on :D

      • might contain some traces of steve irwin's ashes

        • I was going to say "That's in poor taste…" but than i realised that it's probably the same taste as the lollies :)

    • +1

they certainly are scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to flog off really old steve irwin lollies with a chemical odour. not even worth 10c imo.

  • +6

I'm at a loss for words.

    'slight chemical smell'
    3 years out of date..
    dead man's lolly range

Seems like I'm on scare tactics or something.

    • +1

Agreed, expiry date over 1-2 years can't be healthy.

    • nope, your on ozbargain mate

    • Hey kids, wanna be like Steve Irwin? Here have some 3 year old slightly chemical smelling lollies.

1.1kg Sour Cola Tubs from Big W for $8.86.

are they availble national wide? as never seen them will check next time i go.

    • +1

Hmmm I think so. I just randomly picked a store near Melbourne, Fountain Gate (I live in NSW and have no idea about Melbourne suburbs?) and checked that they sell them, which they do.

Couldn't find a picture of them on google, but they're in clear ice cream 2L type containers. They sell a few varieties (Gummy bears, worms etc) and they're Trolli brand.
My local store ALWAYS has them on display at the entrance.

(also I should specify that I work for Woolies, but don't speak on their behalf, just checked for you since you asked.)

Please don't risk your health or anybody elses by buying lollies with a chemical smell. These lollies need to be thrown in the bin

    • -1

I recommend sticking to the Cola lollies. :)

  • -2

You guys are harsh! Thanks for the post - we can decide or not whether to purchase but I find most lollies of this type smell a little 'chemical' - ingedients should tell you what is in them - 10 cents a bag is a good buy!

    • +3

10 cents a bag is a good buy!

it's 10 cents plus $5.50 postage for something that was made about 5 years ago…

Can probably pick up something fresher and better at the local Reject Shop for $2

  • +2

    Hahahahah!
"Spend a further $800.00 to receive a 5% discount. Conditions apply."
    Too good.

    • +1

      Hmmmm… 8,000 packets of Steve Irwin lollies…

Will all that be delivered for $5.50 ????

  • +4

    crap deal

  • +3

clearly defect products (chemical smell) and past use by date. milk is 'best before' but is it safe to drink after 3 years?

    • +3

actually, it is after 5 years… The best before date finished 3 years ago…

  • +3

what a load of crap for sale

  • There is a good reason why food items have a "best before" date. Getting dysnetry from some 5 year old lollies is NOT a bargain

    • +3

It's a cheap way to loose some weight.
