Hi guys. i need to make a large ebay purchase (~6.5k usd) and was wondering if there are any current discount codes? i have found 'PENNY5' which maxes out at $300. any better options?

There might be more specific codes depending on what you're buying and who you're buying it from. If you're on Chrome, see if the Honey extension has any valid coupon codes (it basically keeps a user-contributed list of codes and tries everything for you on the checkout/coupon-put-in page.
You can buy ebay gift cards from resellers on OzBargain, saves about 7% or so, you'll need to PM them.
Apparently there's supposed to be a limit on how much you can use per transaction and a monthly limit too (I'd actually like to know)
Don't forget cashrewards!You'll need to use eBay AU to use the gift cards though.
