        Ahh yes. So I can kill my phone battery faster while charging it slower. How wonderful and necessary. I also can't chuck it in my bag unless I glue it to the pad or wrap elastic bands around it. So amazing.

        Extra heat is bad but the 'wireless' heat generated along with the slower charge would probably be beneficial overall, not detrimental.

    I second the $9 deal. Rubbish. Slow charge. Wireless capabilities rubbis.. both charging way could not keep my phone battery afloat.

  I bought this exact charger when they had 40% off a few months back. The wireless part was sketchy out of the packet and stopped working within 2 weeks. The wired charging still works (better than my old brick) so it's not a complete write off.

  But yeh, don't recommend if you're buying it for the wireless charging.

  I got mine from HN. Died after two charges and it was too hot to touch. Don't recommend it even for $9..
