1.5M for the price of 1M, what a time to be alive!

  • tinkering with the different colours available, seems only black and white ship to Australia.. unexpected..
EDIT .. or on closer glance, maybe it's a stock issue .. as now 1.5m in either colour say "wont ship to Australia ..

    • Yeah I wanted a green one but alas, not possible. Lame.

  • maybe.. I just ordered it when I posted..

  • Order 1 x 1m, at first it let me add 2 for the same lower price but during check out it gone back to higher if order two.

  • All our of stock now.

1M is still available in black/white (make sure to click "Buy it Now" if it won't add to cart). Edited link in post.

  • I wish I could find some this price that had slightly thinner cables. Really cbf printing a new phone charger with bigger holes :P

    • …what?

    • -1

thinner cables wouldn't be able to push through enough current at these distances, really need 22awg for 1.5m and beyond for 1amp+ charging

      • -2

I'm well aware of that and more than enough.

        • -1

This one is much thinner and still pushes 2a. More than enough and has been popular here previously.

Silly people telling a rep off gosh.

        • @Clear: describing specs like 'thinner one' instead of standard awg cable width, im glad you're not my rep =D

    • +1

I have a couple of these cables, both have no troubles with Quick charge on my S8+, and very thin in comparison. Seem sturdy enough…

      • That's perfect thanks! I use their power boards and they're very good quality.

  • $1.09 USD inc. GST for 1m black = $1.47 AUD with 28 degrees card.

    Thanks OP. Ordered 1m cable

  • I think I have an addiction…

  • Tried making an account multiple times with different emails but no verification email sent, anyone got lucky yet?

    • Mine came through straight away

    • Mine in junk

  • Price goes to US$2.19 if you order more than 1 rather than the max of 2 they state.

    Shipping to Australia: 30 - 40 days.
    Opps.

    • +1

I got mine in 12 days in Perth

      • 14 days to Perth for the few I ordered last time. Very quick.

  • Bought two 1m white cables. Total $3 AUD.

  • I ordered the plain ol' micro 1.5m for the same price (hoping the quality beats my usual junk). The mobile website is a failure. Kept being redirected to the homepage when selecting an address.

have purchased 2x1.5m on a previous sale, can confirm it's good

  • purchased 2x 1m, one in each color. US$2.18.

  • Can I use this to charge my pixel2 with xiaomi power bank because it only have usb outputs?

    • +1

It will have no issues charging, but won't fast charge (the Pixel/2/XL all require USB-PD for proper fast charging, so a PD charger and USB C-C cable is needed).

  • It allowed me to bought another one today under the same account for the same price.

Just bought a 2m black and paid USD $0.97 including GST (AUD$1.31).
    Thanks OP

    • +1

Thanks for that, just posted another deal with the 2m.

Thanks OP, bought 1 White and 1 Black.

Question: Does this support QC3:0? (As the description says max 2.4A current… )

    • +1

I believe the 56k resistor ensures that the cable doesn't pull more than 2.4A for safety purposes. Definitely still supports QC3 (which uses higher voltages and less current to achieve the faster charging speeds - e.g. 9V @ 2A, 12V @ 1.5A etc).

        Thanks donnot.
Saw your 2m deal too but didnt buy as I thought extra meter might slow down the charge rate…

But is this right though? (i.e. shorter cables are good for fast charging)

        Cheers

        • +1

Technically there will be more resistance as the cable length increases, but the wire gauge of these cables is quite thick and at 2m, it won't affect the charging rate of a phone.

Arrived today from JD.com , a lot quicker than banggood and gearbest.

  • yes got mine too today, to Brisbane, QLD. Didnt realise they werent USB 3.0, only USB 2.0. Should have read through the comments or checked specs myself, but I guess i shouldnt be complaining for the price ;)
