How do we test/check it?
If you want to be sure, this is the technically sound way to do it. I just ruined the cable by ripping off the plastic coating and measured the resistor though because I'm lazy.

I’m not sure about these guys. Last time, I bought the Xiaomi torch power bank, I was charged USD12.99 and after weeks of waiting got a refund notification from Paypal for USD11.99? No reason nothing given, they have cancelled my order and refunded only USD11.99? I raised with them through the feedback, still no reply or even some sort of acknowledgement
I've had several successful orders but the last one got tracked to Melbourne then waited a week or so and then the status changed to return to sender. I think it was an issue with China Post but I'm not sure.
Their online chat was prompt and issued a refund but they stated that they needed to wait until it got back to the warehouse to issue it. Didn't take long.

Hmmmm, the 0.5m one never seems to be in stock….
0.5m cables are usually made in short runs. For longer runs of cable look at 3 or even 5m. That’s 10 times longer.
