Heard great things about these headphones. iirc the 7.1 is only when plugged into a PC with a sound card, only stereo in a console but good quality and long lasting.

I looked at the reviews for these and they didn't seem great. I ended up getting the Corsair HS60 from Computer Alliance for $99 less 15%, which are quite similar in functions but seemed better reviewed.

The Hyper X Cloud alpha ($165 retail) have removeable cables, so if they break you don't need to ditch the headsets….be nice if they had the alphas for $101.
