  • Xiaomi

  • To clarify are we talking Qualcomm Quick Charge or USB-C Fast Charging… aka USB-PD?

The hard part is finding a power bank with all of those in 10000mAh and shipping to Australia. People here love to preach the ZMI 20000mAh power bank despite no one shipping it anymore.

what's the difference between quick charge and fast charging?

      • There are different types of fast charging technologies. What do you plan on charging?

        • Galaxy S8+
          Nintendo switch

          maybe an ipad

          @Dr Boulos:

          Nintendo switch

The Switch doesn't conform to any charging standard, not Qualcomm's QC, or USB-PD. Use anything other than Nintendo's own charger at your own risk.

@HighAndDry: I remember Nintendo coming out and saying this and saw the reports of people's Switches being bricked but recently when looking into it it seems that the general consensus is that it's ok if it's a quality USB-C cable but can't find any official word. Either way Nintendo and Anker are currently working on an officially licensed portable charger.

        • @Cheaplikethebird: Oh nice find. Thanks - having a cheaper third-party option for charging the Switch would be great.

      • And I'm the rep for that store ;) I couldn't just go linking it without potentially getting into trouble.

        • Haha I was thinking that

From a quick Google I think QC3.0 is what the battery can handle.

  • yeah not sure what OP expect people will answer? of course xiaomi.

same like "what AA battery" ? eneloop.

    what city? Sydney

    what phone? Android.

    ups, not related….

    • is the current eneloop offer for a charger, 8xAA and 4xAAA a good offer at $38

  • I was going to recommend this https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-ultra-fast-20000mah-power… as I just bought it yesterday. But the price went from $49 to $99 overnight.

  • Cygnett ChargeUp Pro.

I have the 20k to compare against the Xiaomi ZMI 20k.

The Cygnett is more reliable. I press the button and it always charges at QC/PD. XiaoMi doesn't always respond (not a huge problem, just reconnect) and sometimes doesn't charge at fastest possible speed.
