Tomorrow will see the beginning of Tekken 7 Xbox Live Free Play Days on Xbox One, offering the opportunity for Xbox Live Gold members to get to grips with the latest chapter in the Mishima clan saga, as another bout of the King of Iron Fist Tournament kicks (and punches) off.

During Tekken 7's Free Play Days, you'll be able to sample the entire roster of 30 characters, including stalwarts like Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya, Yoshimitsu, King, Marshall Law, Hwoarang, Jin Kazama, Paul Phoenix, Nina Williams, Eddy Gordo, Feng, and new faces like Shaheen, Josie, Lucky Chloe and others.

The Tekken 7 Xbox Live Free Play Days period commences on Thursday 2nd August at 12:01 am PT and runs through Sunday 5th August at 11:59pm PT on Xbox One. And once the Free Play time ends, if you fancy purchasing the full game, you can grab Tekken 7's standard or Deluxe Edition for 60% off, and preserve any progress and achievements you've earned during the free period in the full game.

    wouldn't you need to purchase the game first at the XBLive discounted price before you can download the game now though?

    Yeah. This is what puts me off these free weekend trials. I CBF spending days downloading the game on my shitty ADSL connection just to play for a day or two.
