I know the PXC450 is an old model but I think it's still a steal at this price for Manufacturer Refurnished one considering it have 2 Years Sennheiser Warranty as well. . Used ones on Ebay still selling for $100+.

Kinda want an open back headphone.
I had them but the earcup is a little bit unfit to me. Sound wise they are pretty good.
If you want open back headphone cheap witn good sound, the Goldring DR150 can be had around $49+ postage when they are on sale from Jaben. Check out review for it.

Anyone know if its worth paying 3 times the price for the PXC550 over PXC450. Not to fussed on sound quality, but mainly want them to be reasonably comfortable and dont really wanna hear outside noises on the plane.
Also if they are noise cancelling, does this mean you can use them without music (just silence) and still cut out sound
