For those who have patiently waited for the PC release. Lowest price I could find. Steam DRM. Region-free (excluding Japan).

I haven't used Voidu before. Looks okay. Listed by ITAD. Good general feedback. Anyone here at OzB used Voidu?

Also, I suspect this might be activating early, i.e. playable (release due Aug-9, US time so later in the day for AU).

  • Just looked it up and entered the code and it came up as USD $46.80,
couldn't get it up to come up with your price

    • Not sure why the discrepancy. Can confirm USD $45.26 here

  • Should you feel like you want a more reliable link you can try Green Man Gaming. Its been posted before https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/390692
I got it for $49 usd (~$70) yesterday

    • It was also $45 on Green Man Gaming with coupon codes they handed out like candy.

      • I buy from GMG more than anyone else, and I never found a code to apply to their price, which has been around USD $49 since the release announcement last month. I found those codes lacking lately, probably because they've had daily specials with their Summer sale.

        • I should have said, "I buy from GMG more than other sellers"

Purchased mine at CD KEYS @ $62.50 including 5% facebook like.

Hype has really died down for this. They shouldn't have delayed PC.

    • But it is now the good time for mhw. All the extra content will be available for PC players right away.

    • It would've been a day one purchase for me if it came out at the same time as the console version but I've waited this long, might as well wait a while longer for the prie to go down.

      • Same. Price drops will come fast since PC is struggling.

Not sure how to link to specific comments in other posts, but I purchased from Green Man Gaming Phillipines Via VPN. Cost me $39 AUD for normal edition, I got the key and activated on steam today.

Won't let me checkout with paypal keeps going back to payment screen

      • same.

      • Your email address on greenmangaming has to match with PayPal email address.

        • It is

        • @cyrax83:

          Strange, maybe new account restriction?

    • doesnt work, payment doesnt go through. Yes same email.

    • Nonetheless, I still tell anyone to tread cautiously with buying keys with a VPN.
Some keys will be region locked, and GNG will tell you to sod off if you want a refund as you can't activate it.

Yeah I've also had no luck with this, even tried setting up an alternate paypal account, and using my CC seems to never process; GMG returns a generic "declined by financial institution" message, but I just spoke to my bank's card team and they advised they never even received most of the requests (GMG put through two at once which flagged as a duplicate but the rest didn't even come through)

I'm gonna try again a little later but I suspect I may need to just bite the bullet and cop the Australia tax haha.

      • Let us know if you could do it, I'd be interested to see if anyone was able to get through that barrier.

        • +1

Yeah no luck, basically GMG blatantly lies with their error codes, and also blocks paypal now. It's now no longer available in the philippines, and no other region with good prices seems to have paypal available. It's really stupid that entirely digital content with no actual distribution costs has a typically 20% markup here when they price adjust for other regions with weaker currencies than the USD. On the other hand I suppose no one has ever accused GMG of integrity, so there's that lol.

  • Does this have crossplatform co-op? Would like to play with PS4 friend.

    • Unfortunately no.
Fresh start for the pc players.

  • For reference in case anyone is able to process the payment, GMG has prices approx. $55 aud in both India and S. Korea by the way. Have not tried yet myself as I'm hanging out for a cheaper option just in case.

  • Voidu store sold out of MHW keys.
