Expiry supposed to be 10th August 4PM.

    • It would be nice if all the USB slots are being used in tandem but wouldn’t it cost more in electricity if only one of the USB ports is in use and the others are not being used? Excuse my ignorance here if I’m completely wrong about it.

Here is a thorough review, and

Unloaded power consumption is 0.1 watt

      • Charger only consume what's required from the devices being charged, plus a little more overhead (efficiency, unload, etc)

  • +1

    Grabbed one. Thanks OP.

  • Used one of these for years and it’s worked without fault. There’s also a 10 port version, but it’s still 60w.

    • It also costs $144. :/

I wouldn't mind a 10-port 60W version if it was only slightly more than $29. Plenty of my devices don't require fast charging or high currents, e.g. smartwatches, cameras, tablets on standby, etc.

      • Dont buy anything from Amazon at the moment without checking elsewhere first.. There are loads of people trying to rip Aussies off.. You can get the 10 port version for less than $100 locally.

        • I was thinking more around the $35 price range since the circuitry is the same, it's just extra USB sockets.
I guess they won't sell enough to get the price down to that range.

    Got one. Thanks!

    Great deal O O :)

  • +1

Sweet!! got one as well, cheers

  • +2

    Thanks OP!

I’ve been thinking about getting one for a while now. So tired of having multiple chargers all plugged in but couldn’t justify the price. Now I can :)

  • lot of neg reviews in the wirecutter article link like 'While I still like Anker overall, we had 3 of their recent PowerPort-2 chargers go flaky and then die while traveling in Brazil for several weeks. Besides that they are also quite large an heavy. Based on that I can't see depending on them for foreign travel.'

but its prime and a lightning deal so why not?

it gets an 18 month warranty in the states wonder what it gets here?

    • In some countries, Brazil probably one the power supply is ridden with surges.

    • I’ve got a number of these around the house that have been completely without fault for many years. They’re a good product. I’ve got a couple of 6 port and a 10 port and they’ve been brilliant so far, and they see loads of use.

    Got one! Thanks :)

  • What's so good about this brand? Is it that all the ports charge devices quickly? Genuine question, a bit ignorant and wondering if this is something I should get.

  • +3

Wanted: 6 Port USB Desktop charger, 2 port USB-C with 60W PD + 27w PW, 2x QC3, 2x 2.5a (Smart charge or what ever else they want to call it)
Have it as max 100w, and share from that. Small as possible, light as possible, with proper filtering and noise reduction.

Charge $100 for it, and it'll fly off the shelf.

    Grabbed one, cheers OP!

  • I've used these forever, they are good value at twice the price! Grabbed one, wish i could get 4.

  • Stupid question

Can it fast charge iPhone X and MBP 2018 type laptops? Or normal charge the laptop atleast with other ports in use?

    • +1

No USB-C port only USB-A ports. It's why I've +ve vote this (as you don't need to worry about the USB-C mess/situation).

No fast charge on iPhone X (that requires an original USB-C to lightning cable (see note below)). However, so far, the advantage of iPhone X fast charge is minor compared to a 5V/2A charging - unlike iPad Pro fast charge.

Note: Apple 1m USB-C to lightning cable has two versions, the newer one only supports USB 2.0 (whereas the older version supports USB 3.0) - it is an issue for people with iPad Pro. Newer version is cheaper.

  • Does it come with AU wall plug?

    • +1

Appears to use the standard 2 prong power cable. Most people might have a spare one around. Hopefully, it comes with a 2 prong cable with AU plug.

The design is somewhat better as it might be easier to use it overseas (i.e. I have a few US 2 prong power cables) - not a fan plug converters since cheap ones tend to be quite dodgy.

  • OP, I think it is limited to 1 per acc?

    edit: no longer available

  • You still need to good usb cable to be able to charge 2 amps or more

  • Unable to add to cart anymore.

    • Amazon adds a few more to the deal, be quick!

  • Back to $49.95.

    edit $69.00

  • +1

Grabbed one last minute thanks OP.

  • Damn it I just signed up to Amazon prime for this and it expired ;_;

  • I missed out but this deal is still active and arguably better than the listed deal if you require USB-C: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/395262

I picked this one up instead as it has more features.

  • Good deal OP, Thanks for sharing!

Have been needing something like this for the phones (personal + work) and other usb charged devices.

Luckily managed to grab one on my account and signed the partner up for prime so we can have one at home and other at my office desk ^.^

  • Missed it :(

  • damn missed it
