  • From previous experience, to get the CB did you have to continue the subscription?

    • I signed up , paid with paypal then cancelled the ongoing paypal payment but didnt cancel the subscription.
After almost a week I got a message from Cashrewards saying they had issues tracking and I should send a copy of my invoice from HelloFresh.
Sent invoice , got the $35 added to my 'waiting to happen' cashrewards amount.
      Then I cancelled the subscription.
      Hope that helps.
TLDR I dont think so but as they has tracking problems Im not 100%

  • more like HELLOOUTOFDATE..most of veges they sent had brown water marks or very close to best bye date

  • Looks like some people had issues getting the cashback if you cancel after your first box?

Ive been using this company for the past 2 weeks. I must say at the intro price, its not a bad deal at all. The food is good quality and most of all making something different from the normal repertoire. After the first week it does get quite expensive though, so might have to nip it in the bud sadly

someone answer the question!~ do we need to continue a rolling subscription?

    • Cashback is payable for new customers only. Valid on Classic, Family & Veggie Boxes only and ongoing subscriptions.

      • +
Estimated approval: Up to 90 Days

So, unless they state otherwise, looks like if you cancel within 3 months, no credit?

  • Too much of a risk. Even if it does track and you cancel your subscription they can just turn around and not pay it in 90 days if they want.

    • I've gone through the next 12 weeks of orders and said "skip this week", but I still have an active subscription

I signed up during the previous deal and my wife and I loved it. Tasted great and improved our quality of food immediately and at $3.33 p/p for a meal (after the discount and cashback) it was a great deal. And for our lifestyle it is a very good option.

But, being a classic ozbargainers I couldn't stomach the prospect of paying 3 times more ($11 p/p) after the initial set of bargains, so we instead decided to go through the next week's menu and try to buy the ingredients we needed ourselves from Woolworths/Coles/Aldi/Fruit Barns (depending on specials).

I have to say, for the effort and lower quality of the outcome (e.g. some of the specific flavours were different), I have to say, I'm considering just paying full price! Anyway, see below for what we ended up paying.
