Much cheaper on AliExpress last year.

      • inflation?
or perhaps these shoes have that elusive leather we are chasing :)

        • Sorry, no ostriches in China.

        • @PJC:

sure there must be a farm somewhere
like Ostrich farms used to be big here in Australia a while ago

Things that should be noted about this business:

      • There is nothing on the website to tell you about the business, where it is based or who runs it. There is no address anywhere on the site: on the contact page, all that is said is "[w]e do not have any physical (retail) store at this moment. However all orders will be processed from Melbourne warehouse [sic]".

      • The website's privacy policy is copy-pasted from other websites, as a brief Google search reveals.

      • The delivery and shipping page contains numerous obvious errors: e.g. "to get deliver as fast as can by using best courier company"; "We will ship your item on given shipping address while checkout"; "courier company will left the notification or calling card in the mailbox or front door for you to re-organise the delivery on your convenience day"; "If product purchased become faulty please contact to us with photos and a copy of your receipt within 3 days".

      • "Footer the Footwear" was registered as a business on 12 June 2017, by "Emarketing Consultant Pty Ltd", which operates three other businesses: "Crazy Bargain Australia", "Glee Smile" and "HOT DEALS AUSTRALIA". Like "Footer", Glee Smile and Hot Deals Australia have websites which disclose nothing about the businesses.

      • Footer's "principal place of business" is a single storey house in Tarneit, a suburb in Melbourne's western outskirts. That house is also the principal place of business for Crazy Bargain Australia and Hot Deals Australia. Glee Smile's principal place of business is another single storey house in Tarneit.

Oh dear, I hope my shoes arrive.

I was under the impression that all ozbargain post would be legit and not a scam

        • Come back with a review (hopefully) or keep us informed.

        • Sorry, didn't mean to alarm you. I don't mean to say that this is necessarily a scam – but I would not expect high quality goods. For example, the site owner's business model (such as it is) may involve finding some cheap knock-offs from Asia and selling them at an elevated price.

        • @PeterA07: I should've did more research on work shoes.

These ones here are going for $19.95!!

        • @Homr: They're synthetic, though. Synthetic shoes often look nice, at least at first, but they're less comfortable to wear than leather (even low grade leather). If you wear dress shoes for work every day, it's best to look for shoes that at least have a leather upper.

        • @PeterA07: I don't think that'll affect me since I work in a desk job sitting on my ass all day :(

  • @ Homr
Going by recent posts here, quality wise, there is a reason why they are priced so low.

They are probably ( happy to be corrected OP) not full grain/ top grain leather made in India/ Pakistan/ China
    So possibly low grade leather
Possibly worth spending a bit more to buy something better
Also hoping that OP is not another post and run fella

  • nothing over size 11 :(

    • being size 11 myself, it was hard to find shoes in India during my time there
the usual practice if they didn't have a size 11, was to take their biggest size 10, remove any sole lining, and try to squeeze my foot in
they preferred to do this, than to simply say, sorry we don't have a size 11 :)
