    Good for sex

    • i like sex

Good for pornhub ozbargain happy times?

    • +1

      But only with limited positions

    • +3

Better get it in white then.

    • It probably has limited uses for sex. I can only think of a handful of positions that would work. But then again my imagination isn't very good.

      • Have something similar, can confirm, but those positions are fun

  • +1

    Poor for masturbation.

  • Anyone know if you need to assemble this or its a whole unit? Or even size of packaging it comes in as if click and collect would be good to know in advance if fit in suv with seats folded otherwise it becomes more expensive due to delivery.

    • Spoke to agent. She says it fits most suv.
(890Hx1700Wx735D) is the size. Single unit
U just need to put the cushion on top.

      • 890mm seems high for my suv anyway length maybe yes width ok.

i unboxed mine at the store and put it into my Hyundai i30 hatchback without any issues.

Tossed the cardboard to the side of the car next to it as to not litter.

LEGS are the only thing you need to screw in. that's it

    • Whole unit. You'll just need to screw the feet.

  • And is box it comes in even bigger or no box

  • Do I buy 1 or 2… tempting….. Does anyone bought this in the past, please review. Thanks

    • +2

We have one. Looks good, not very comfortable. Ok for the price point.

      • +1

Did you buy it at 299 or sale price?

        • my sale price was $179 2 years ago

  • Im tempted to order but not sure if too big for suv height might be issue unless legs are apart and cushions which adds to size. Im not sure if anything comes apart on this.

Sorry but bonded leather like this gonna gives way in one or two years. Bought bonded leather sofa once during uni times, never again..

Yep. Bought a $1400 "leather" couch in 2010 that we barely even used and it lasted about 18 months until leather starting to peel off and then within a further 6 months, it looked too bad to even keep in the house. What made it worse was the Salesperson sold it to us claiming it was a real leather couch. Amart's response was very poor, they said it only came with a 12 month warranty and even after pushing them, they only agreed to take 20% off another comparable couch in store (no thanks). Needless to say, that was the end of my Amart experience. Couch ended up on the footpath, neighbour's son took it but then his Dad made him throw it away and paid for a skip bin. Cool story…

Amart were dodgy in my experience too. Never again.

I bought a York cross trainer from Amart Sports years ago and had York out no less then 4 times to fix it over 3 years, each time I couldnt use it for weeks at a time. Eventually at the 3 year mark they didnt want to fix it anymore, and after a lot of cracking it at them and no support I spoke to Amart for a refund (1200 bucks) and they granted it with no fuss and didnt even need the unit back. Was very impressed with their support. Even though it wasnt furniture I figure that its important for people to hear good and bad experiences with a shop.

        • @Jackson:

Are amart sport (now rebel) and super amart even related?

        • @brad1601:

          Only by marriage

        • I'm pretty sure I was sold my couch as if it was leather (it wasn't)… I got them to refund me $200… Didn't really care in the end. It works. Hasn't peeled yet. The dog runs on it without any concerns. So i'm happy with it so far.

    • I've had a bonded leather couch for 5 years now in new condition. It's only just starting to come off on one now a little as it was in direct sunlight too much last summer.

    • I just threw out a bonded leather theatre lounge from Super Amart after 5.5 years. Started peeling about 3 years in, and was horrible over last 2 years. Replaced with a fabric couch. Definitely would not go back to imitation / bonded leather.

    • this ones fine.. mine is still perfect after 2 years +… :) its a luck of the draw

    • There's a reason bonded leather cost $100, and real leather cost $500+ for equivalent, definitely "you pay for what you get" in this case.

My advice is only buy if you on real tight budget, and need a "leather look" sofa, or else you might even have to make extra effort for to dump it on verge collection soon.

I've had this exact chair since 2014 and i'm very happy with. That said, it's probably had light use. At $100 though, its a bargain, and a very comfortable chair if you have the room for it.

  • I was going to get one of these a couple of months ago, but it was quite uncomfortable as a wooden support underneath the padding kept digging into my lower back.

  • +1

Real leather or just stick with fabric mann

  • So ugly though

    • +9

We're talking about the deal here not you mate =p

  • +3

Yer agree with his fabric fake leather. It falls apart and goes all over the place

Needs to be in real leather or fabric and would cost $$ to recover

  • We got a large sofa corner with bed that folds out from them real leather to start with we found on delivery there was issues with one or more parts, frame damaged etc, after them replacing them over a few times they got sick of us and sent a truck with while sofa and to pick what we wanted to replace.
The sofa is huge and its 5 yrs old now and still like new and thats with kids.
So ny experience was what crap did i buy but they was ok to deal with and in the end hadva sofa that was all ok.
It came in three parts being a corner sofa.

  • Has anyone purchased this at 299? Aint 100 not a bad deal? Can you get similar for $100 elsewhere.

We were going to buy some furniture from Amart as they opened recently in Canberra. I thought I'd read some reviews first as we were going to spend $1000. I am really glad I did. Their reviews about product quality and after sales service are shocking.

  • +1

This is going to fall apart. I've had Amart 'leather-look' couches before and they delaminate after a couple of short years. Never again.

    • Same, never buying leather look again. They crumble out of nowhere after 2 years

  • Fantastic deal, pity they are far too big for my apartment.

  • I have a white one of these that i got two years ago $179 its awesome and still in grate condition.. NO bad cheap toxic smells either from day 1.:)

    • How about from day 2?

      • +1

After a while some sort of smell will rise from the grate.

    • Is it in the same condition as your cheese grater? :)

  • they have 20% store wide now, I bought something 1 week ago from them….. any chance I can get the difference back?

    • worth calling them i guess

  • +4

    Good sex chair.

    • oh yeh, oh yeh!

      • Which hole are you receiving in??

  • +2

Just checked the display stock at Braybrook. Good deal at $80

    • Cheers mate - picked up my chair today, and they refunded the $20 difference ;)

  • Jasmine, the name itself is so tempting. lol
