[Pre-Order] New PS4 500 Million Limited Edition Controller for $49 (With Old PS4 Controller Trade-In) @ EB Games

1050

The link doesn't tell you that trade in is available, but I walked in yesterday, saw it, and went to trade in this morning, and got it.

My 2-year-old controller traded in for $50.95 since I paid $49 for a $99.95 PS4 500 Million Limited Edition Controller, which could cost more in eBay (if you get what I mean).

It's a Limited Edition, they only made 500 million of these controllers.

    • Um… it's to celebrate 500 millions of PS4 sold. I doubt they will make 500 millions of these limited edition controllers.

I am not going to trade in my controller and pay $49 for another controller.

I was joking. Btw it's 500 million Playstations (all models accumulated), not 500m PS4.

  • Perfect

My 2 year old controller analog stick has failed and has been sitting in the drawer for over 6 months.

  • If I preorder online, can I still trade in on the day I pick it up?

So … I hand over my perfectly fine PS4 controller and pay an extra $50 for an uglier PS4 controller?

It's a good deal for faulty controllers

Guys whats the easiest way to ruin a perfectly working controller before i trade?

Suggestions are toilet bowl for 10mins, microwave for 2 mins

    • Open the casing, zap any electronic components with 240V. Put back the casing.

      Works for me.

  • Is this controller the exact same as V2? Going by description I believe so.

    Also,

NOTE: USB cable is not included. To connect or charge the controller use the USB cable supplied with the PS4™ console. Design and specifications are subject to change without notice.

Does this mean we don't have to trade the controller with the charging cable? Mines a little dodgy.

  • Did this at Melbourne Central store today, cheers OP!

  • Just traded in my chewed up (by my toddler son) one

  • This has long finished. Sold out few days ago

  • People actually thought they could make money from these. Those scalpers!
