          S/note 9 arent computers… Id say no it wont… should work on the Huawei Mates though as they dont require dex for desktop mode. Id clarify S8 compatibility to see if its just OTG compatible or something more

      Pretty sure I have this exact one. Tried it with my Note 8 and it didn't work for Dex.

        Did you try with and without power pass-through? Apparently either mode can trigger it

    For those who want dex for s8, s9 n note 8, i use this and costs $30. Has pd and plenty of usb.

    For those asking about it working with Samsung Dex, in theory yes but only on the Galaxy Note 9 as the Note 9 adds dex supports for direct USB-C to HDMI compared to previous Galaxy models that required the dock

    Even link from the advertisement for the product on the Zapal's home page doesn't work.

    So got mine today it looks ok and is a brushed aluminum

    testing HDMI pass through with a 6700K i7 got not display to TV so dont know if i need to install intel video drivers so will test on a guys laptop at work, but it didnt pass through power on the PD port that is usb type c which is what i bought it for.
