Bluetooth Headphone with Detachable Cable & Good Mic

Hi all

I need your suggestion for a good bluetooth headset that has the following specs:

  • Good mic (must have)
  • Has detachable cable (must have, in case of flat battery)
  • lightweight (must have, ideally less than 245g)
  • Price around $300
  • Bluetooth 4.1 (or whatever the latest one, not so important)
  • noise cancelling (no need but nice to have)

I have Audio Technica ATH-AR-5BT, this headset fits all of the above specs, except for a crap mic.

Every time I make a call, the other end always complains as if I'm in a hall.

Appreciate your help and suggestions!

      Thanks for your suggestion, interesting concept that it can be used for computer using USB cable; but my purpose is for smartphone more (where it requires 3.5mm jack)

        Are you ok to use it via Bluetooth?

        I cannot recommend this enough

        From memory, mwave was the cheapest store
