    I have had samsonite and antler,
    But the quality of antler is not as good as samsonite. How is American Tourister compared to them?

      Samsonite own American Tourister. In actual fact, they both do the same returns/warranty from the same place in VIC.

      I've used both, doing fairly long 3-4 week, multi-flight trips. The American Touristers have actually held up a bit better than the two Samsonites we used (i.e. wheels still smooth, material less frayed) so I personally would recommend them, especially as much cheaper as well.

    Am I correct that the dimensions of this suitcase (81x48x29/32cm) are too big for most Australian domestic flights as checked baggage?
    Virgin says 140cm (length + width + height) max.

      As long you weight is ok. You will be fine. I just spoke with an employee that I have in the airport. She never had a problem selling check in cases for any Airpline. Mostly the problems are when you have wrong dimensions in your carry on

    Not convinced by the zip quality on these. I have the carry on size, and the only time I checked it the zip was cracked open. Similar to samonsite issues. So would be worried with the additional weight for a checked bag.

    Preferred my previous antler bag.

    Received super quick, happy with the product! Would have considered purchasing a second at the same price but ended up going to Kamiliant for around $90 for a similar weight bag.
