You can purchase the Jabra Elite Active 65T headphones for 29460 points, however if you move the slider all the way to minimum points and maximum pay, the total comes to 2k QFF points + $215.12, i haven't seen these for cheaper than $280 on ebay so its a decent $50 savings.

You can also do the same for the non-elite models, comes to around $185 + 2k QFF

If you value the points@1c/point then they come to $235.12 and $205 respectively

I'd value qff points at 3-4c (eg for business class upgrades) so not much of a saving imo.

  • What's so good about these headphones?

  • I tried to get it price matched at JB today but they wouldn't do it. They did though offer them to me for $249 which was a decent price.

    • was $279 on sale a few weeks a go.
      You got a good price.

  • anyone having these, please could you comment.

Not an expert on wireless Ear buds but I've got them and, apart from the occasional bluetooth issues, they're amazing. Bass is good, has an ambient sound pass through feature, fit is good for my ears. I haven't fully tested the battery as the longest I've used them were for 2 hrs.

I've got the non-active version and they are really great. Fit well, light weight, sound quality far exceeds what I thought possible for something so small (and much better that the airpods I borrowed for a day). I use mine in a small office mostly for phone calls but also when out walking. I paid $228 at JB price matching HN.

I’ve a pair of these and the Sony WF-1000X. The Sony sounds better (though these aren’t bad) and has rudimentary noise cancelling but suffers more dropouts if there’s interference such as overhead power lines at train stations and the like. They also sound terrible on calls and revert to mono, whereas the Jabras are - as expected - very good.

I also have these (non Active though), and also had a few other BT in-ear headsets including Sony XB80BS Sports, Sol Republic Relay Sport Wireless, BlueAnt Pump Airs and the MUCH more expensive Nuheara IQbuds Boost, amongst a few others too.
I found the Jabra's fantastic; they are my absolute go to headphones. The sound balance is really good. The noise cancelling is good. The features are great, 10 min quick charge for one hour use, auto-pause/resume on removal/insert of earphone, Jabra app with different noise cancelling sound profiles, regular firmware updates, BT5.0 for multi pairing.

    • I've got the Elite Sport (the previous model) and find them great, they worked perfectly with my old Galaxy S7, never dropped out. The only concern then was the sound in the left earbud was quieter than the right the majority of the time.

Since upgrading to the Mate 10 Pro, I haven't been able to get the earbuds to get through the setup process on the new phone though, which means the heart rate monitor won't work (it's silly that you can't skip the pairing step via the Jabra Android app, because you can in the Jabra iphone app, therefore this is a non-issue there). Bluetooth connects without issue though and music still plays with no dropouts. Jabra support couldn't provide a solution neither. Stranger still, these work without an issue on my wife's iphone, set up without issue via the app.

tl;dr - When they work, they're awesome. When you have issues, the support is not that helpful unfortunately. Would recommend, especially at a decent price.
