Hi lovely people,

I am a young entrepreneur and started my business 2 months ago. My products are disposable party ware such as plates, bowls and platters. If you want to steer clear from single-use plastic plates at outdoor functions and parties, this is your product.

Plant-resourced disposable tableware can:
1. Decompose within less than 60 days of disposal;
2. Sit liquid for 6-8 hours without leak;
3. Microwave friendly for up to 2 minutes;
4. Refrigerator friendly.

My inspiration for Keeo is derived from traditional practices of eating from banana leaves back in my home country. With the rise of single-use plastics, this is change we should be making to ensure our Earth's good health.

    Great idea. Just do you know, I'm only seeing the left half of each picture on your home page, using chrome on my mobile.

    Do you (or will you) have biodegradable bags for rubbish and kitchen bench top tidy bins?

    Hi lovely people

    You must be new here. Let me introduce you to jv.

  • Microwave friendly for up to 2 minutes;

    What happens after 2 minutes?

    • What wattage was tested? I use a 1200W microwave which is higher than most!

      • +1

        Stop bragging… Mine's just a normal 1000W one…

        • Someone who lives here love that their oats are ready in 30 seconds in the morning!

          I usually take 10 seconds per 60 seconds off the cooking directions on everything. So these plates would only survive for 1m40s in a 1200W microwave?

  • I'd suggest changing "(inc with $75+ " to "(free with $75+ ". Just seems a bit confusing at first read.

      I ran out of space in the title field during my edit.. sorry!

      Hope that's better.

      PS. Delivery is never free, someone always pays, even if it's the merchant comp'ing it! ;)

    With these prices, I'll stick with plastic.

  • How quickly can you ship to Sydney Metro if ordered Wed afternoon?

    OP why do your prices not include GST please?

    • +1

      Yeah, that could cause you some issues in future OP

  • Do you have wooden cutlery. ?

    We used these plates, bowls and cutlery for Christmas lunch with the family with a beach theme table.
    And poured (washed/sanitised) sand along the length of the table and added seas shells and the like.
    Kids drew pictures in the sand.

    Best of luck OP and good to read your inspiration. I have seen them when travelling in SE Asia and it’s a great initiative. Will support it for sure

    • Thank you :)

      • OP why do your prices not include GST please?

        • Hi PJC, I have now included the GST in the prices as well.

        • @keeo: That's a step in the right direction. Next time you post, invest 3 minutes adding 4+ example bargains with direct links and obviously prices to maximise Members' interest.

  • One thing I couldn't find on the homepage or the FAQ: are they able to be washed (not soaked obviously) and re-used safely/sanitarily? And if so, once or twice or indefinitely with proper care?

    This is a cool idea. It would be nice to have some cutlery or something for scale in the preview images so I can easily see what size the plates are at a glance.
