That teleporting around bollocks makes me not interested in VR at all. Why can't they just let us chunder if we need to until we get used to it.

    • I was dubious too, but it actually works well - it becomes part of the tactics you use in the game. Shoot demon in the face, teleport behind him, shoot him in the arse, rinse, repeat… Fun!

    • Huh? You don't need to teleport at all. You can walk around just fine. It's just faster to teleport. And telefragging does amuse me.

I hope you went into the options and turned on free-look, rather than be stuck with the 8 cardinal directions.

If you're referring to Doom VFR, theres an option where you can use the controller to walk around freely I believe. Correct me if I am wrong

    • You are correct.

    • That's good then. Why is it a separate game then? Can't we just play the normal game with a headset on?

  • I can only imagine how awesome the Jak & Dexter Collection might be.

    • So that Jak and Daxter Collection will play on PS4? (not just PS3)?

EDIT: okay, looks like PS4 ports came out late 2017 (I was initially misled by it's wiki page)

    • Keep imagining, you'll have a better gaming experience that way

      • So…. I'm currently playing through the Uncharted series (half-way through 4) and then TLOU. I want to go back on Naughty Dog's older games; I'll get the recent Crash trilogy on PC once price reduced, and now thinking of getting this.

Never knew about this trilogy; is it bad? What is it, a bad port, or just old games that haven't aged well (I remember playing the first on PS2 back in the day and found it fun enough, if not kind of a by-the-numbers collectathon Banjo-Kazooie knock-off).

        • The controls havent aged too well, considering its price point it is worth it to play Jak X and the first alone IMO. Even back on ps2 I couldnt really get into the 2nd and 3rd Jak and Daxter

        • @JMxoxo:

Old 3D platformers never age well, do they!

  • Jak and Daxter was $11.95 for me.

Maybe because I already owned the first game. Got a free code when I pre-ordered Uncharted Lost Legacy

Extra 10% off for PS Plus members

      • Ah the extra 10% was off the insane full price of $59.95. Who would pay that?
$11.95 is very reasonable for the 4 games though :)

  • Just read the Euro/Aus release of Jak and Daxter games on PS4 have major issues, like they're 50Hz or something and run like crap.

Does anyone know if this was fixed? I already shelled out for the bundle. Had I known I would have got it from the US store.

Can't believe we're still getting lumped with inferior 50 Hz versions in this day and age. Even Nintendo stopped doing it and release the 60 Hz versions here with their VC stuff
