Gold Class E-Vouchers for $30 Each (Normally $42) @ Village Cinemas (No Restrictions, Also Valid at Event Cinemas)

140

For today only, you can get Gold Class E-Vouchers for $30 each, they are valid for 12 months and can be used at any Village or Event cinema which has Gold Class.
These vouchers normally sell for $42, and although some cheaper offers come up, this is one of the cheapest I have seen for a unrestricted Gold Class voucher that is valid for 1 year. Also to clarify, it costs $3.25 per ticket to redeem the vouchers online. You can avoid this fee by redeeming the vouchers at the box office in-person.

Selected Terms & Conditions:
* This voucher is valid for one Gold Class movie session admission.
* Voucher can be redeemed online at villagecinemas.com.au, eventcinemas.com.au or at the ticket box for movie sessions at participating cinema locations.
* Vouchers cannot be redeemed until 24 hours after purchase.
* A surcharge applies for 3D sessions.
* Booking fees may apply.
* These vouchers expire 12 months from date of purchase.

    I'd say you'd be looking at roughly $3.25 per ticket booking fees. It's a bit of a joke, IMO.

    • Do you mean included in the $30? Because there is no booking fee added to the purchase.

      • The online booking fee is separate to the voucher price. You only pay the extra $3.25 per ticket when you redeem the voucher online. If you redeem in-person, there is no fee.

      • I mean typically when you book a ticket online using one of these vouchers, you are charged the normal Gold Class booking fee of ~$3.25
        As indicated by

        • Booking fees may apply.

        This will only be if you book online, if you do it in person there will be no booking fee.

          The problem is you really have to book online because with limited seating most of the popular movies in Gold Class would be sold out (or bad seats) if you wait until you get to the cinema.

        • @Gaz1: not sure how far in advance you can book AT the cinema, but I agree, booking online is ideal and paying a fee for it is disgusting but unavoidable.

          I believe that as soon as session times are released online, you can go to the cinema and book in advance, if you think it's worth the effort to avoid the booking fee.

    I remember when tickets used to be around $25. Sure that was a while ago but it's getting ridiculously expensive now. If you were getting major perks then I would be happy to pay but in my opinion, it's remained the same over the years.
