    They are still pretty bulky - they fold up kind of like a compressed Z shape then you can carry them from the side. We have two of the same style and they are pretty comfy - was tempted to buy more at this price but I can't look past the red to be honest!

    Also found the neck cushion strap on ours lost all elasticity very quickly so we've had to make adjustments to keep them up at neck level.

      Thanks! I'm looking at a comfortable replacement for "ye olde directors chairs" but I need them to be as "carryable". Sounds like I'll have to keep looking. Much appreciated!

  Bought something similar from Ikea a year ago for $99.
