David Jones - Samsung Full HD Plasma 3D TV PS50C7000 $1299

102

David Jones are basically matching the price (excluding delivery) of Bing Lee's current offer here http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/39926

50” Samsung 3D Plasma TV - Now $1299 (Save $900) Includes 1 pair of 3D glasses

Looks like a good deal if you are interstate (looks like it's available nationwide) and can collect from a DJ's and not have to worry about freight.

Also good if you have a DJ's AMEX (2 points per $1 spent).

Fine print (sorry about the scan quality) says:

Samsung offers available until 28/02/11. All other offers available until 27/02/11. All offers are subject to stock availability and not available in conjunction with any other offer.

  • EDIT, my bad it was David Jones ad I saw.

  • Harvey Norman just updated website to match this $1299 price as well (down from $1799). Doesn't appear to be any terms about limited stock or availability there:

i'd choose dj over hn any day given identical prices.

  • also
daivid jones would accept credit cards
i'm pretty sure others want cash (if this matters)

just means pay 1 month later
    and get points!

    • and, depending on your card, an extra year warranty!

Its just a samsung price drop. Non of these companies are giving us great deals off their own back. They are just passing off a Sammsungs price drops as their own special deals. Boo to them

    • This is true, a guy at JB said this to me on Sunday. The new lines are coming through and the stock they have now will try to be pushed through before then.

I guess the new ones, with the strong Aussie dollar will mean cheap series 8 stuff.

  • I brought same tv on sunday for $100 more at Harvey Norman. I think they have a price guarantee policy that if you find a cheaper price in the next 7 days after purchase they will match it by adding value to the original purchase price.Thinking of calling up HV about this. Has any had experience with this?
