    Thanks, on another note can anyone recommend good ways to research travel destinations and build an itinerary online?
    I feel there's got to be more than just looking at trip advisor…

      General search. Cities and regions have websites promoting attractions. Even travel guides from a library can give you background info but double check the currency of the information. Some tourist organisations provide sample itineraries. Bloggers can provide ideas and points of view. There are websites with schedule information. Even Google Maps has timetables, especially useful in non Latin alphabet countries.

      There is a free cloud Kindle reader and also a Windows based Kindle reader. AFAIK there is one for ios/android/fireos too.
