I need to spend $500+ in my amex card in the next week or so to get 15K Qantas points. Any gift cards or better options to buy to reach that number + score some extra savings? I checked the Cashrewards woolies gift cards but Amex is not accepted :/

You can also prepay your phone bill, insurances, public transport cards, healthfund etc.
The CR woolies card does accept Amex, it should redirect you to Woolworth page. I do it all the time

The OP would have to buy at least two Opal cards as you can only have a maximum balance of $250, plus the maximum top-up amount in person is $120 (unless you can convince the assistant to do multiple top-ups in the one transaction)

Depends where they top-up. The machines outside the stations don’t accept Amex (nor does auto top-up), but you can top up at many Woolies and not as many Coles with your Amex and not get surcharged. Newsagents may add a 50 cent-$2 surcharge (going by past Shop Smalls)
Just buy 5% off woolworths egift card.
The easiest way is a fully refundable hotel booking on a site like Agoda. Once you get your points get a refund.

Thank you guys, I can confirm you can pay with Amex. The confusion came from first payment page having the Mastercard, Visa and a couple more logos, but later on you can use it through SafeKey! Cheers!
anyone get zurich amex ezilife insurance offer of 5000k points on their explorer or platinum cards? just wondering how long you need to keep the policy to get the points?
