      That's china lumens.

      900 lumens is out of specification for this emitter type. See datasheet here: https://www.cree.com/led-components/media/documents/XLampXPE…

      Under ideal conditions, the R3 bin is capable of 122 lumens when driven at 350mA. Even when driven to the 1A rated max it still puts out only a third of the claimed lumens. Once you factor in losses due to driver inefficiency, battery capacity, heat dissipation issues, then the actual output lumens drop further.
