How is the quality better? You need to demonstrate why the scooter is better value despite the premium in price.

Second, Ozb is probably a terrible place for one off purchases for startups tho as the audience is expecting bargains.

    I agree.. However, the only reason I wrote AUSSIE Startup is so people know we are not HUGE and offering the best that we can :)

    If you’re simply reselling product you’re working with a commodity and in this day and age will be lucky to make 3%. To make any money you need to develop your own product or be in the service or finance industry. If you’re looking at the retail layer you need to consider people are spending money freely mainly only on themselves i.e. coffee, massage, food and entertainment. Anything that comes in a box will be down to the lowest possible dollar.

      Makes good sense.
      So basically in the case of manufactured goods; retail is caught in an accelerating price race to the bottom. Those with huge buying power or who are a single step away from the actual manufacturer will ultimately make it work - Alibaba, eBay and Amazon.

      Like I said in response to that ebay Comment, it is clearly a better deal than ours. As a customer, I would buy from that eBay link. The product looks same to me. May be he has been around for long and may be their purchase price is better then our. However, our pricing is also highly discounted when compared to the competitor zoomy.

Looks dodgy to me.

Your website has no address, ABN or contact details listed. Who's to say if I purchase from you that you won't take my money and run?

At least when I buy something on eBay I know that they'll back me up. If the item never arrives or if I get something sub-standard eBay will send me a refund without questions asked.

I'll take my chances on eBay. As you say it's the same product, only cheaper.
