[macOS] Savable Safari Extension Free for Two Weeks (Was $1.49) @ Mac App Store

100

Mac OS version of the "Savable" chrome/firefox extension, a cash-back/points earning aggregate and comparison tool (iPhone and iPad are not supported yet)

Previous safari extension was technically deprecated. Now Apple requires to ship an extension with a Mac OS App.

Once you downloaded the App, you need to run it once and the extension will be added to your Safari browser automatically (looks like you need to restart safari to enable it). No need to run the extension later on.

All the functionality and look-and-feel are the same as Chrome/Firefox. More information please check Savable Website

Again welcome any feedback or suggestions.

Will this send my data back to China servers?

You overestimated yourself, whom do you think you are?

      • A nissan turbo. T25

        • Always wanted to wack one of you onto the Pulsar ET Turbo I had in 1999

        • @Chickenleg: Ah… the ET series. Simple yet easily tuneable. A true pocket rocket

Bit of a worry with the language

"Savable Extenstion added to your browser"

Two wrong spellings in one short sentence

    • Was trying to figure out where it is for a while, then realized that it's in the app itself :(
Rely too heavily on auto correction, didn't notice it because the code editor doesn't have it….
Hope it wont bother you much as you don't need to open the app anymore

      • no not at all, installed already

        Thanks

  • Installed but not working on Macbook Air.

    • Did you restart your safari?

      • Yes I did

        • Sorry I don't have a Macbook Air here, won't be able to investigate why :(
If you still want the extension, you may install the one I created before: https://safari-extensions.apple.com/details/?id=au.com.savab…
This will add to your safari directly without the Mac OS app. Cheers.

        • Even with the app installed I had to go to "Safari Extensions" search "Savable" and "Install" then restart "Safari" and then it worked.

        • @Rakddon:
Did you run the app? After you run the app, the extension will be installed automatically. Sounds a bit weird, not sure how Apple designed in this way.

        • @foxgaocn:
I did everything you said in your original post and it didn't work.

          Again,
Even with the app installed I had to go to "Safari Extensions" search "Savable" and "Install" then restart "Safari" and then it worked.
