Melbourne’s popular burger parlour Huxtaburger is finally opening an outpost in Redfern.( shop c/66 Regent St, Redfern NSW 2016) And to mark the occasion it’s giving away its burgers for just $1. Meat-eaters and vegetarians will be catered for.

There are currently six Huxtaburger joints in Melbourne; Perth, the first city chosen for the national roll out, will have three by the end of 2018; and the new Sydney operation is just days away.

You can enter a competition on opening day for the chance to win a year’s supply of burgers. To go in the draw you just have to follow Huxtaburger on Instagram and post a snap of your $1 burger in the new store next weekend.

From 11am.

Huxtaburger Sydney is slated to open at 66 Regent Street, Redfern on September 15 this year.

  Hmm. Wonder what time people will start lining up.. If I go, I will have to catch the train from Newcastle (No I am not only going for the burger :P ) but unsure what time I should get there.

    Have lived in Redfern for six years, never had a bad encounter. It's full of hipsters and yuppies now, top of Regent St where this place is opening up and all of Redfern St is completely gentrified and becoming a bit soulless really. Still a good place to live though.

        Yeah kinda regret lining up. The burger is worth the original RRP. Tasty burger, my only complaint was had too much full of mayo. Staff were really nice as well. I made a boo boo and they were really good about it.
