    Hey Jacob, two years expiry is great on the 24Gig plan. Two questions:

    1. How do you keep track of your data usage?
    2. Can you top up if you use the 24GB up before the 2 year expiry?

      You must use services such as whatsapp, viber and Skype etc.

    By far the cheapest option I've found that lets you stay active for longer than 14 or 30 days! No idea how long I'm going for so this is perfect, and allows tethering which some others don't seem to allow! Ordered a 24gb!

    I purchased this 2 months ago and took this to France (Paris and Provence) and Italy (CinqueTerre, Florence, Rome, Capri, Almafi, Naples).

    Pros:
    + Good value for money
    + last long and can activate before flying

    Cons:
    - It's on roaming the whole time and for some phones, I suspect it eats up more battery usage
    - 90% of the time it's on 2g/3g
    - I had no reception in Italian islands like Capri, Procida etc. My partner ended up buying a TIM prepaid card when we were in Italy so we mostly relied on that.

      These sims can be activated whenever you like.
      You just insert into the phone, turn data roaming on and you are good to go.
      So next year should not be a problem at all.

    Can you please confirm any restrictions on the sim card. I see on the Three website that they note "If you roam exclusively in a Go Roam Around the World destination for any 2 complete months in a rolling 12 month period, we may suspend international roaming on your account, which means you'll no longer be able to use your device or allowances abroad" and also it notes you can't use more than 12GB?? I am going to travel to alot of those countries for 3 months in december and am keen to go get the 24 GB, but dont want to be restricted half way through.

      I have just confirmed with 3 and they have said that the internet with legs 24GB does have restrictions of 12GB if you stay longer then 2 months.
      This sim is good for people who travel and are not going for longer then 2 months.

        The conditions also say "If you spend a full month abroad but some of that time is spent in a destination that isn't included in Go Roam, this restriction won't apply." I suspect what they want to prevent is someone using this SIM while living in one of the allowed countries. So if I use it continuously for more than two months without leaving Australia they may suspend service. However if I keep traveling and stay in each country for less than a month each time, it should be fine.

        And the 12GB limit appears to be per month.

        How the 2 complete month rule applies will affect whether Sunlogo can use this SIM as a data SIM as he suggested below.

        Would be good if this can be confirmed. 😀
