  • Hopefully Goodguys price matches. That way I can claim price difference from coles mastercard…

  • I forgot I paid that much for an IphoneX.. yikes. Anyhow…. I got to sell my X to get the new X+

      . I got to sell my X

      Don't sell your X, that's human trafficking.

Just bought a Redmi Note 5 to replace my iPhone 6. I had an iPhone 4 before that. Couldn't be happier with the Xiaomi! TBH, it's hard to imagine me going back to an iPhone when they cost as much as this…

Forgot about the phone. It's the OS that's the real difference for me. I cannot fathom how people can live with a restrictive, boring and feature poor OS like IOS. I despise it with a passion.

Ummm… people who doesn't need to be unrestricted and do things that Android phones can do? Seriously, not everyone is the same as you. Some people just like simplicity and are happy with it. Some people simply love the brand too and nothing wrong with that either…

        • On top of that itunes is awaful. Need to sync you phone with itunes just to upload your music etc. The only thing positive about apple is their warranty and service. It's up there with the best.

        • @dlakers3peat:

Yep, I like iOS. It's simple, clean and fast. The iPhone 4 was my first smartphone, and I used iPhones since 2011. But God, they're just so expensive for something that becomes outdated in a couple of years. Both my iPhones eventually slowed to a crawl.

I won't be missing iTunes which was clunky, slow, and just got in the way.
I definitely feel more freedom with my Xiaomi and it's features. I like that MIUI is more like iOS than stock Android. So in a way, I have the best of both worlds.

The only thing I miss are some apps that I can't get on Android, and no longer being a part of the iMessage/FaceTime network, but I paid $194 USD, so how can I possibly complain.

        • Agreed. Some people just need $2000 phones to take photos, chat on messenger and post stuff to instagram.

    • The SE is good value.

  • this phones on optus 205 gb plan for 105

    • The note 9 deal on same plan for $84 was better value.

      • I tried to get the note but they won't do that deal now

    New iPhone Xx Australian pricing:

    The 64GB comes in at $1,799, the 256GB and 2,049 and the 512GB at a whopping $2,369.

    • +1

The pricing is getting silly now. I just wanted an updated model of the SE but now it's discontinued.

      • Now they call it XR which apple consider as a "more affordable" iPhone at very reasonable $1299

        • +2

It's not small though. It's actually bigger and heavier than the Xs. There's no small option now.
