  I wonder, is IKEA making a loss here or do they get it produced, shipped and stored for less than $10. Even production, would it cost less than $10 and they are selling for $149.

    I'm sure they'd be making a loss, sometimes you just need to get rid of shit quickly due to space or whatever.

    All the items in the 'as-is' area have stickers stating the reason: whether it is a returned item, defect (dent, scratches, etc), or the item is being discontinued.
