I had a look at the video and this just looks like a 5 usb port charger? It just happens to have LEGO compatible studs + a storage space (which can be used for lego or other small objects). Not sure what it has to do with Lego Robotics

    • Yeah…looks like a charger. Looks ok though…maybe good for my son!

USB charger maths never makes sense to me. So it outputs 55W they say, but has 4 outputs at 2.4A, and one QC output at 3A. At 5V, that's 2.4 x 5 (12W power) x 4 (ports) + 3.0 x 5 (15W power) x 1 (port) = 63W. I take this to mean that each port will do a max of 2.4A (or 3A for the Qualcomm), but the total can't be over 55W.

Not the first manufacturer to offer these kinds of figures, and there's a reason behind it. Still…I love a charger that can deliver full power on all ports at once - they are few and far between.

$39 seems like a decent price though if it's truly offering the stated specs.

    • Certainly my nephews have found a heap of uses for USB power packs in their Lego play. Maybe this helps.

  • Here's another for adults
