  I used easyrentcars to book a luxury Suv Xc90 or similar for three days via Carhood. On my arrival, I was given a 2014 Nissan pathfinder. In my opinion its a downgrade. I opened a casr with easyrentcars and its been almost a month but no resolution.

  If you book via easyrentcars, I suggest not to book with Carhood.

    Your opinion doesn't matter, what you need to do is look at the class of the vehicle you hired and see if the Pathfinder is in there and if not what category it is in. From there you can work out if you are entitled to a part refund or not.

  As soon as I activated the coupon my rental prices went up. Tried from another computer and they are lower for the same days and cars.

  Not really a deal.

  I have activated the coupon and completed and paid for a rental (reference #67447053). When I then tried the same booking from an incognito window without logging in the car was $1 cheaper for the rental.

    That's exacly my point - there's no deal here. Same happens with REFFER A FRIEND coupon - both receive $30 off, but prices go up by the same $30.
