  • Could you broadly tell me the difference between this and the premium version?

    • +1

      link provided above.

    • this ones for this kids

    • This one will do the Fortnite dance if you tell it to using the app.

*checks username * - I think that YOU should be telling us!

  • +1

less battery life which means less running time and cleaning area, less suction power, no route, mapping, voice control and mop.
But bigger dust bin. and half price cheaper.

    • -2

Very good you pass the test

    • +2

It's concerning that it can't charge and resume cleaning if the battery runs low. This means it can't be use on larger areas, and when the battery starts to lose capacity, it will need to be replaced sooner.

      • +1

I was surprised to see that missing feature. Even my $150 Aldi robot managed to fumble it's way back to the dock to recharge. I don't think it was clever enough to restart where it left off though, so it probably kept vacuuming the same area each charge.

  • +2

Is there a mature version? I don't like youth because they often have too many issues.

  • Heads up guys without the 'SLAM' mapping this product is rubbish. 'SLAM' makes the robot vacuum good at picking up dust around the house.

  • how does this compare to gen 1?

    • below is the specs for xiaowa, i would say 1st gen still better than this.
      Suction power: 1,600 Pa
      Dustbin capacity: 640 ml
Covers up to 80 square meters
2,600 mAh battery that lasts up to 60min
Can climb 20 mm (0.78 inches) obstacles
10 sensors placed on the body
      Scheduling
      Different cleaning modes
      Mi Home App
      Low-noise operation

  • +3

Youth Edition - looks the same after it has cleaned it's room.

  • Can it clean black or dark coloured carpets/rugs? The 1st gen seems to avoid black rugs.

    • +2

it will clean the floor based on different cleaning modes, no color discrimination.

      • :) Nice one.

Is it the case with 2nd generation too? Can it clean dark carpets and rugs?

        • shouldn't be any problem

    • Just put stickers over the cliff sensors and gen1 works fine. Unless you are vacuuming near cliffs.
