  It's not compatible with HomeKt yet. HomeKit finds all genuine Philips Hue lighting products though Philips Hue Bridge except this downlight (Tested)

Unless something special about your external driver OP?

I had found the individual downlight for a bit cheaper without the driver a bit back on Alibaba but obviously without buying bulk can't really match the price of already put together.
