Fair amount of sizes are currently available for the Beeswax colour (7, 8. 9, 10, 10.5, 11 and 12).

Other colours are all sold out or have much less stock but the Beeswax colour is one of the most popular/recommended ones.

Thanks OP, picked up two pairs in black and beeswax! Added the spray protector to qualify for free shipping. Great post!

  • will they accept returns if wrong size?

Yes, free returns if over $60, otherwise you pay for return postage I assume.

      • +1

That says items over $60. So I don’t think these will get free returns even if you spend over $60 total.

As far as I know you’ll receive free returns paying with PayPal anyway if you activate it on your PayPal account.

    • You can return to Clarks Parramatta or Clarks Warringah Mall but probably not so convenient.

  • +1

thanks, only beeswax left. Grabbed a pair, hope i guessed my size right (but damn it, forgot cashrewards :/ )

  • I remember them being popular 20-25yrs ago!

    • +1

pretty sure shoes have been around longer than that ;)

      • Yeah, just my ability to perceive what shoe's are in fashion hasn't.

  • Not much left and I already have a pair of Beeswax ones.

    • How did you find the sizing? I took a punt on the sizing, some reviews seemed to suggest they run large?

      • Well, I have a pair of size 11 and they are a touch big on me but I tend to wear them with a thick pair of socks and all is well.

      • +1

But they're great boots. I have had mine for a few years and apart from a bit of wear on the heel and a few scuffs, which add to their visual appeal, they're as good as new.

I might just get another pair and keep them in the wardrobe, just in case these ones ever do wear out. I did want a suede pair though!

        • +1

Thanks! It’s a bit confusing with the UK sizing, I guess adding inner soles is a good option if slightly too big as well!

      • I bought a size 9 (my regular size) of these a year ago and dont wear them because they are too big - should have got an 8.

        • UK9 = US10,you know that?
Im a bit worried if so .

  • +1

Great versatile shoe. Highly recommend as part of a basic wardrobe.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Been waiting for a good deal on Clark's DB's.

  • I've had a pair of these before and they're a fantastic shoe. Ageing just makes them look even better.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Good price and I have never seen beeswax on sale!

  • +1

Thanks OP. Grabbed myself a couple!

  • +1

Great deal - these are decent quality, and you can return at your own cost (use paypal for free returns) if they don't fit. They generally run a bit large in my experience.

    • How does PayPal free return work?

  • +1

Awesome! got a pair of beeswax. They're never on sale.

  • +1

bought a pair of beeswax to replace my worn out old ones which were a size 11 but a tad too big for comfort. Thanks OP!

  • +1

Definitely run on the larger size. Normally UK10+. These UK9

    And great shoe

  • would you recommend this for someone who never worn any kind of boots before? seems awfully popular here

    • feck it. bought two sizes to try out and return the incorrect one with PayPal. already have 10 pairs shoes over last few years of ozbargain. unbelievable

      • +1

They're my every day shoe. Comfy and goes with just about anything. Doesn't feel heavy like a normal boot but good and thick leather.

        • +1

          thanks. good to hear that

  • +1

Excellent find, been waiting for a sale on the Beeswax. Great find, OP. Heeded the warnings and went with a 9 instead of a usual 10.

Bought the RM Williams boots the other day, too. I've got far too many shoes bought from OzBargain. These, RMs, Dunlop canvas, Nike Huaraches, Timberlands…

  • Won't ship to new zealand :(

  • +1

Beeswax are never on sale, score! Although they were out of my normal size, ha.

    Thanks OP.

    Bullshit sale - No stock

  • is it online only? would their melbourne DFO honour this?

    • +1

nevermind. bought a pair of size 8. thanks OP!

      • DFO also has them for $60-$70 every now and again. You can also return them there for free if it's the wrong size.

  • oh i forgot to apply the coupon. the only way i could contact them seems to be the online form. i can buy another pair but will i be able to cancel the previous one ?

  • 2 pairs two sizes let’s hope
the insole fix one of them love dessert boots

  • I missed out, only sizes 8, 11 & 12 in the beeswax style are still available.

    • +1

Maybe check back on Monday in-case they restock.

      • +1

it's what i deserve for sleeping in on sunday. fingers crossed!

        • It was a Saturday so you're a whole day out of whack :) I have no idea if they'll re-stock but it's always worth looking Monday 9am!

  • +1

Gave in to the hype and ordered a pair of beeswax, hope it comes up to the expectations.

  • +1

Cheers OP, ordered a pair of beeswax

  • +3

Thanks. Gave it a crack. I'll be in the lookout for other ozbargainers on the st

    I bought 2 pairs of Beeswax size 11, for $50 each, total $100 + $9.95 shipping.
But I typed in their promo code "save20" and got 20% ($20) off.
But I didn't qualify for free shipping, so I paid $89.95 final fee.
It does state that the save20 promo code is only for full price items, so I was really surprised when my code was accepted!!

  • +1

Sigh, why didn't I order this at 6am

  • +2

use promo code taf20 to get 20% off

  • Damn! My size is usually UK10/US11 so I ordered these in UK10, but all the online reviews are saying they run bigger so it's better to order half a size to one size smaller. Too late now. lol

    • Try swap in store!

      • I am in Adelaide. I think they have stores in Sydney and Melbourne only, don't they?

    • I wear UK 10 and I have found the sizing fine with the Clarks.

      • I hope that to be my case too. These are my first pair of Clarks and the price is great, so I don't wanna return them for sizing. Fingers crossed.

  • Has anyone's shipped yet? - Never mind, just got shipping notification.

    • Mine shipped today.

    • Still waiting for confirmation of shipment here.

  • Mine has been cancelled :(

  • Still waiting for shipping. it says "AWAITING FULFILLMENT
    Order Placed: 15th Sep 2018

    Last Update: 15th Sep 2018"

    • Got a shipment is on it's way email last night and was delivered this morning, it still says "AWAITING FULFILLMENT" in my account so I don't think they update it.

      • for me no email reg shipment as of yet. hopefully they don't cancel mine! :/

      • just got a refund :(

  • Mine is cancelled

  • order cancelled:(

  • Same. Got refunded by PayPal for my two pairs I bought without any reason given. If they mail the shoe horn that I bought to avoid shipping fee I'm going to be pissed off.

    • Same here just got a refund :(

  • Just got a pay pal refund with no explanation. Clark n hell!

  • Damn it.. refund..
I'll never have grown up person shoes ;)

    • Ordered 2 pairs (different sizes).. One just got a shipping notification.
Guaranteed these ones being shipped will be the wrong size :/

      • haha i hear you mate

  • What a bizarre company if all they do is issue refunds with no other reasons….

  • No shipment email from Clarks, no refund email from PayPal, and no delivery yet. Anyone in Adelaide bought these and had them delivered yet? And is it possible the people who were refunded used the 20% discount code rather than the 10% one? I didn't create an account on their site, so I can't even check the process of my order. Damn!

  • +4

Just got an email about cancellation saying it was a mistake, no stock, and as a gesture of goodwill when back in stock in November they will send unique code so I can buy them again for 50 bucks…

That's decent customer service, compared to Mr hush puppy.

  • +3

    Just got this email

    Hi,
Over the weekend we launched our new Clarks website and as part of our Mid Season Sale we discovered a pricing error. The Men's Desertboot 3 in Beeswax was incorrectly marked down to $50.
Unfortunately due to the high demand, there is not enough stock to fulfil all online orders and as such you will be refunded the full amount.
We are expecting to have more stock available in November. As a gesture of goodwill, we would like to honour the $50 price point and we will provide you with a unique code when the product is back in stock so that you can re-purchase the boots at $50.
Our range of Desert Boots have virtually remained unchanged since the 1950s. They feature our signature crepe sole for effortless wear and style all year round.
The original Clarks Desert Boots; often imitated but never bettered.
    Thank you. Clarks

    • Got that too. That’s better from them. Would be nice if they provide free shipping too this time for less than $99

    • same here, got the email + refund.

    • Yep, got the same email.
I think that's not a bad way to handle it. So thumbs up for Clarks Australia.

    • Shit, everyone got that email except me =.=

      • That means yours has probably shipped. I didn't get that email either, nor a refund, so I went to their site this afternoon and sent them an email (couldn't find a phone number to contact them on their site). This evening I received the shipment email.

        • I order 2 pairs, and got beeswax cancelled and refunded. Sent them an email, hopefully they would honour the price for beeswax too

  • Great customer service Mr Clark.

  • I ordered mine at 7am before they got OzBargained. I haven’t received any emails aside from the initial confirmation email. I will be mad if I don’t get mine and others have, surely orders should be filled in order of priority of when they were placed.

    • I ordered at 8am and it was shipped yesterday.

    • I ordered at 9:30am and mine shipped yesterday. What size did you order? mine was a UK 10.

    • I placed my order at 5:37am (SA time), so it seems those of us who ordered early in the morning and so far didn't get cancellation emails will have theirs delivered. Fingers crossed. :)

    • All good. Mine were shipped today. :D

      • I also just received my shipping confirmation tonight. Phew, call off the dogs haha.

  • Well that’s not sounding very promising. I ordered UK 10 in beeswax and the black suede. Hmph.

    • Mine were just the Beeswax and I paid a little extra for express shipping.

  • +1

Got an email saying out of stock but will be honoured once back in stock in November…

  • +1

Damn it.. as expected, of the 2 i ordered, the ones that turned up are too big

Hopefully paypal return shipping claim is easy enough

    • well, wont need paypals help
Clarks sent a reply paid label to send them back

I'm out the original shipping $ but shrug, guess that the cost of random shoe buying on the internet

    • I ordered a 7UK (8US), but my normal Nike size is a 9US and I found The 8's to be really snug. I know they'll stretch out a bit, but right now there's no toe wiggle room

  • Mine arrived today. I was dreading the likelihood that they would turn out bigger and return them, but they are fine. There's a little bit room in front of my toes after I put them on (I am size 10UK), but when I do the laces they're tight at the top of my feet (I have high arches). So, there is no way I could go half a size down. I can pull them off as they're with no issues.

  • I wear 9.5 - 10 US in most shoes (Converse, Nike) so I ordered UK 9's in these and they are way too long and still too narrow… After lacing them up I can easily pull the boot off. I'd hate to see how they got after stretching/wearing in.

  • If anyone around Brisbane/Sunshine Coast has UK 8.5's (UK 8, Wide) they'd like to swap for UK 9's PM me.

  • Anyone got their code yet?
