  Fair enough if you think it’s too much to pay for a shoe - but there hasn’t really been that many times you can get standard black comfort craftsmen at this discount. Most of the discounted RM shoes are their less popular lines at end of season sales.

I wonder if the discount will still apply if I pay with a gift card. I get 5% off through HCF, which would bring the total discount to 28.75% (or $498) — about the same as what the outlet charges for past-season items.
