Dont recall seeing the V8 Absolute down at this price, might be time to pull the trigger.

Dyson recommended this one for our hard floor 2 bdr unit. I've got 3 girls at home with veeeeery looooooooooong hair and Dyson rep suggested I get the tangle-free turbine tool that comes with the car cleaning kit, however it's a really small tool. Does anyone know if V8 Absolute's standard attachments ie. soft roller or direct drive cleaner head will have an issue with vacuuming long hair? Thanks

I have a DC44 and a V8 absolute + wife with long hair. After every single use the DC44 brush bar would clog requiring removal and scissor style clear out. Have had V8 for 9 months and brush bar hasn't clogged once. Incredible improvement. Brush bar is much thicker and just one thin row of bristles (shorter and more spread out).
Haven't used the tangle feee turbine head to offer opinion sorry.

My definition of the brush bar is the horizontal bit that spins and picks up the stuff! I use my "carpet head" everywhere in the house, hard floor and on carpet. Works fine for me!
