Philips Master LED MR16 460lumens 7W Dimmable 4000K Retrofit 36D $7.70 (RRP $29.95) + Shipping @ Melbourneelectronic

High quality halogen downlight replacement

The Philips Master LED MR16 7 Watt is a direct replacement for all 'low voltage' downlights. Here's why we think it's the best retro-fit bulb on the market:

Same brightness as 50 Watt halogens (giving you over 85% energy savings).
Fully dimmable and compatible with existing transformers.
You can replace it yourself - no electrician required.
4000K is a cool white (like a fluorescent tube)
36 degree (narrow beam) for higher ceilings or where lights are closer together
Dimensions: 50.5mm (width) x 50.5mm (depth)

There are countless MR16 LED's on the market that simply do not deliver. Short lifetime, poor colour temperature and transformer problems to name a few.

Once your Philips Master LED's have arrived, all you need to do is swap the globes.

These lights will work with your existing fittings, dimmer switches and transformers. In rare cases they may not work properly with some electronic transformers (generally less than 5% of the market).

100% GENUINE

Great LEDs at a fair price … be aware of the narrow 36 degree angle

These lamps absolutely suck. Pay the money and put in new led downlights with led drivers.

    • thanks for your comment, we do have the complete kit here:

      • Got anything like this that is dimmable? Looking to replace old mr16 setup.

Disagree! Swapped out an entire house of halogens for these and been really good for a couple of years now.

Agree with Noise36, ordered 40 for my dad's house, replacing all the halogen downlights, work perfectly well with electric transformers.

Did a second order of 20, and both times they were shipped out quickly. Postage is slow eParcel. So 2 for 2 of good experiences with OP.

        • Just to be clear I am talking about the lights not the shop selling them in this post :)

        • @noise36:

Sorry, I should have been clearer about that. Only the first sentence is in relation to your post. Second sentence is my personal shopping experience with this shop.

    • Replaced around 102 35W halogen with these bulbs in a property, works like a charm so far [3 years and still going]

I can only warn about this seller. Really bad customer service, package got lost and the seller gave me wrong tracking numbers and eventually stopped replying. Take your business elsewhere, there is only sadness in form of LEDs to find there.

    • Any comments op

For what it's worth, I ordered 50 bulbs when this deal was posted, they arrived today in Sydney - extremely happy, no issues with communication or tracking.

  • A while ago i installed these Philips MR16's to replace my 50w halogens and had nasty RF interference to my HF radio reception…totally unusable…
just a single globe was enough to cause bad interference.
They was retrofitted to iron core transformers.
i have since installed Nichia MR16 instead, No RF interference and nice colour light very close to 50w halogen and in brightness too, also 60 degree spread not a narrow 36 degree.

  • Good price but agree with above comments that 60 degrees will be more useful to most.
