Estimated Battery Life (hr) Up to 6.5

Dont bother. You wont get anywhere near it. Last headset i got that said 6 hours, i got closer to 3.

    • Yep, my dad bought one and battery life is no good, don't bother

    • Yep same with mine.. Started out good, was getting about 5-5.5 hours, then slowly started getting lower and lower. Ended up returning it

      • damn thats not good. ok wont buy.

    Hello OzBargainer!

    • Hahahaha I came here to say the same thing. They're onto us!!!

  • Good Price but let down by no AptX or AptX HD which is prerequisite for me now with my Pixel 2 (but nothing else available with those features in this price bracket yet)
    Specs from website:
    Bluetooth v3.0 A2DP 1.2, AVRCP v1.5, Wideband audio HFP v1.7, HSP v1.1
Standby time Up to 14 days*
Audio HQ custom SBC codec, 6 mm custom dynamic drivers, Frequency response 20-20,000 Hz, 20 db passive noise reduction, Total Harmonic Distortion <3%, sensitivity 102 dBspl/mW @ 1 kHz

    • Bluetooth 3!

aptX isn't the biggest loss, but it doesn't have AAC either, instead it's got a custom HQ SBC one… oh dear.

  • probably be a great Birthday/Christmas present for the kids/teens, but if you are getting a pair for yourself maybe wait…we are in a weird period where BT5 is available but nobody is releasing BT5 headphones…its only time, maybe 2019?

  • hmm review looks decent. any other ozb owners can give feedback?

    • Check out the KZ IEMs (available on Gearbest, Aliexpress etc.) and you will never look back.

      • there are many models, which one you recommend? my priority is long battery life dont care much about sound quality.

        • +1

You just need to buy a separate bluetooth adapter module made by the same company which is compatible with most of their models.

I personally recommend the KZ AS-10 (they come with 5 balanced armatures)

    • Low quality,bought from ebay before,price $105,can’t fit my ear,broken in one month,my experience.

By the way,you can buy Comply ear tip to fit it(around USD $40,3 pairs with shipping fee),and the charger bag only can charge Plantronics headphones, can’t charge other device, for example Phone.

      • really? the carger bag tip is not standard micro usb?

        • I would guess they only supply ~900 amps, likely insufficient for phones(?)

        • +1

@Cheapkiwi: ok but as long good for other bluetooth earphones with usb micro plug, thats good

        • @Cheapkiwi: EDIT:mAmps

      • JB HiFi also have Comply tips

I have these, and despite previous posts of this model getting slammed for "no bass", I find the sound good, much much better when being pushed in by my beanie, but maybe I need to change the tips. That said, every time you skip a track it announces the change, not just a beep, really annoying and slows repeated skipping if needed. Given the option now I would have bought another BackBeat 2. Listening to an audiobook I got 6+hours, but music will drain faster, especially if you push it's amp rather than use source volume control.
I recently bought the SoundPeats QC30+ - stays in better, sounds better easier (no holding), and honestly the only benefit I find of the Bb's over the SP's is the SP control unit is heavier and can swing/bang when you walk, whereas the BB's charge is at the ear piece so the controller is lighter. QC30+ cable is quite thin, prone to tanglling, maybe the QC36 flat cable would solve the tangling and swinging.
      Hope this helps.

      • I bought some HTC BT earphones to make use of the advanced BT technology of the HTC One a few years ago. They had a flat cable with a rubbery finish but anything touching or rubbing the cable gets communicated to your ears as a deep rumbling noise (sounds a bit like tapping on the exterior of an ear bud while you're wearing it)
I don't no if that's the case with all flat cables or if it was the textured finish that was the culprit.

  • Still love my Backbeat Go originals after a number of years now. Might get these as a backup for that price.

I hate when this is advertised as a "wireless headphone with charge case" but there is still a wire connecting them!!

Bluetooth sports headphones are what they should be called, and save the "wireless" for those that are actually wireless.

    • +4

I get your argument… but if I can dance around the kitchen wearing these while the phone sits on charge a few metres away then they're wireless

      • -4

Good luck dancing around the kitchen with these - probably fall out.

        • +3

Ah we can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're are no friends of mine

        • @PainToad:

          Brilliant

    • +2

They are wireless though…theres wireless and true wireless.

What do you call the 3 coil chargers that have a Micro USB plugged into a brick? They be Wireless Chargers.

      • -3

Naming these Wireless is just another marketing gimmick.
There shouldn't have to be a "true wireless".

Also on wireless chargers: you aren't dancing around the kitchen with them.. they sit on your desk and I don't care as much then.

        • +1

not really if in wireless they mean wire free from your phone.

        • @andrgram: You are right that it's wireless to the source, but isn't that implied by the BlueTooth description?

        • @sam buster:

Because they could be wireless but have no battery, requiring a power supply cable?

        • @sam buster: ye Sam I don't have an issue with the product of the listing, I was responding to pennypincher98 and confused as to why they are making such an issue out of general terminology

    • +1

Why do u hate it? Don't get too emotional about it. Its just earphones.

      • -4

Anything I say now will probably just get negged and I'm not getting emotional about it lol.

Wireless by its very definition means no wires. Yet there is a big fat one in the middle. Kind of gets in the way when you are doing something??

        • +1

Wireless internet by its very definition means wireless Internet yet there's a big fat wire running out of the router. Right? You're taking this too seriously mate just chill.

        • +2

If you take the name literally yes, but it actually means there is no physical connection from source and output. My soundbar subwoofer is wireless but it still plugs into the wall.

        • +1

There are wires of copper inside each of Apple's individual Airpods. You might want to sort them out.

        • @Risto:

Bravo Risto, saved me a comment.

Save your money. Go for apple airpods.

      • fantastic. going to repost that photo to my instagram with 978,117 followers

      • Brilliant. I already have Oral-B, will save a lot of $$

    • I own several stereo wireless Bluetooth earphones. The best of them all are in-ear connected with a cable, just like the BB Go (got them too). They are extremely convenient, as I leave them hanging around my neck when I'm not using them to listen to music or talk over the phone. Wenn the phone rings, I just pick the right earphone, put it in my right ear and accept the call. I've been using them for years this way and I love it. BB Go isn't bad for music either. The only problem is battery life and quality, as it gets were over time.

  • due to bad reviews - around $30 i will gamble and buy
