    If you're looking at ~$30 dashcams then I'm pretty sure quality is not something to worry about. It will perform somewhere between a wet sock and a potato.

    But basically it's not 1080P, it's got a battery (not capacitor) so it will fail in australian heat. Suction cup + ball socket means it's going to fall off or the camera will move the second anything actually happens.

  Micro-B USB port! How old is this?

  Those whit LEDs replecting off your windscreen will be annoying.
  And the enormous decorative lens bezel is hilarious.
