Rep the product image shows the MFI logo but several comments provide feedback consistent with a lack of licence (stopped working after a month, etc).

    Comment pls?

    • @LoopyLou:

"Stopped working after a month, not happy"
"Shows that it is charging but does not actually charge iPhone 7 or current iPad Pro. Both on iOS 11.4.1"
"Bought 2 of them and one of it is not working after a month. No cosmetic damages and nothing wrong but oneday, not respond to plugging."
"I wouldn't rely on it as your main everyday cable"
"not sure it's Apple certified or not"

      • How does it stop working after a month? Why does Apple allow it to work for 1 month and not 0?

Waiting for Rep to explain that…

        • because the cable is dodgy that's why. This company is serial spammer on here spruiking poor qualities cables that are misrepresented as MFI when they are not.

Wow !!!. Wonder why they aren't banned from OzBargain already?

@jv: Ah it's not exactly 1 month, and it's not Apple doing it, it's just poor quality and it lasts around that long until it breaks.

        • That’s a really good question that I myself have pondered. I guess it’s possible it only checks once per month, since it would be impractical to phone home every time you plug a cable in.

        • How does it stop working after a month? Why does Apple allow it to work for 1 month and not 0?

Apple iPhone/iPad sends an extra shot of high voltage and current to fry the cable after 1 month.

          Only kidding, just inferior quality.

  • Not MFi, use it for months. it won't work once for every 1 week. Have to re-plug in.
