[Pre-Order] 40% off New Samsung Galaxy Watch for Enhanced Partnership Program Customers $299 - $389.40 (Work Email Required)

3150

Samsung may pull this offer tomorrow since this is going to get Ozbargained to hell, so be quick.
[Update 2 - 4G models BACK IN STOCK! about 450units left as of 4:30pm. Probably from cancelled orders. Get in quick!
Bluetooth versions of both sizes and all 3 colours are still available]
Also, make sure you are checking your order history via the EPP samsung store url, not the regular public one or you might not see it show up
And dont forget cashrewards for this. I already got $10 back TA has confirmed cashrewards is ineligible for EPP deals. My $10 is still pending and will be declined by samsung after review

[Update 3 - samsung seems to have applied a quota of 2 wearables per account (you can see your limit under the "My Quota" menu under your personal detail menu icon). This will limit scalpers, but also people offering to help others.
Stock looks like there's 300 4G 46mm models left]

Update 4 - 85 4G 46mm units left as of 29/09

The new Samsung Galaxy Watch is 40% off via the Samsung Enhanced Partnership Programs website. This is a preorder to be delivered on/after the 3rd like everywhere else, i.e. if your company has a corporate benefit relationship with Samsung, you can register your existing Samsung account by activating it using your company email address. I can confirm working for Westpac and Telstra.

To test, check with your company’s corporate benefits. I simply modified the URL below accordingly with "Telstra" or "Westpac" to see if the companies have a relationship. But you still need a work email to receive the activation link.

list of corporate partners thanks to RichardL

  • ANZ(shop.samsung.com)
  • Coles(shop.samsung.com) (now Expired)
  • NAB(shop.samsung.com)
  • Optus(shop.samsung.com)
  • PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)(shop.samsung.com)
  • Telstra(shop.samsung.com)
  • Vodafone(shop.samsung.com)
  • Westpac(shop.samsung.com)
  • Woolworths(shop.samsung.com)
More being updated by RichardL as they are identified

Once activated you will see a huge banner saying 40% off RRP for all models from the 42mm BT model up to the 46mm 4G model
4G model was out of stock over the weekend but restocked this morning so be quick.

Inventory appears to be shared with retail offers from the Samsung Pay App deal, which is the next best thing if you can’t get this deal:
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/404243

You also get free express delivery and if you really wanted the dual charger, its $20 off via the corporate site as well.
And no you cannot stack the Samsung Pay deal with this 40% offer (I already tried :P)

This is a killer deal as you save $260 with free shipping on the 4G 46mm model. For comparison, the Gear S3 Classic/Frontier were previously being offered for $350 more than a year after launch and previous deals were still around $300.

So $300-389 for a preorder with 7 days battery life and optional 4G is unbeatable.

@Samsung - please dont kill me for sharing this deal to 7000+ of my friends

      • Sorry mate, I'm in Perth. I had a friend buy it for me and he's also buying 1 so his allocation is used up. Apparently only allowed 2 per year from their program.

  • So nice the design and hardware, pity not a wear os watch.

    • +2

ive used wear OS via the moto 360, its good but the samsung has more and better software AND hardware features

      • Agreed. Only downside is that S-Voice is terrible. Other than that, I'd say this this the best smart watch on the market.

        • its not the best but totally useable. i mean i dont really use voice commands anyway. everytime id find use for it its in a public place where i feel like a douche using it

cooking/driving has been the only times. And S voice works fine during those times for basic commands

integration with smarthome would be the next main feature for voice commands, but samsung is slow to rollout their product lineup outside of the BEEXBEE speaker

i actually answer phone calls using the watch alot tho. Like dick tracy

    Just an FYI.
Cash rewards won’t be payable on these purchases.
Samsung will reject the claim as you are not eligible if you receive any discount through corporate partnerships etc.

    • Fair point - still worth a shot!

    • Everything I purchased through EPP earlier this year had cashbacks confirmed, paid out and withdrawn. I have another 3 items pending from a few months back plus this so let’s see what happens.

      • @crazycs
Same here however since the launch of the note9 the Samsung partner and education stores have not been paying cash back as Samsung hanged their terms and conditions on cash rewards.

    • +1

Cash rewards won’t be payable on these purchases.

Correct, will not work. Please see here.

  • Anyone in perth who can help me get it at 40% off please? Interested in the 42mm bluetooth rose gold. Want to get it for my wife birthday next month. Will pay cash upon collection.

  • Hi…anyone from the Gold Coast willing to buy one for me? thank you

  • -1

Any one in Brisbane with 40% discount on 4g LTE willing to help ?please pm me

    • +1

Yeah, I'd like this assistance too. I've got the 20% off, but that isn't good enough for greedy ol' me.

  • In Melbourne, happy to meet or chat. Can someome help me get one as well please? My birthday is near and want to gift it to myself.

  • +2

Anyone who wants one in melbourne happy to help. Pm me with order details.

  • +1

I have carefully read every comment in this thread. Regarding the gmail/woolworth issue, from I see, only one person received the call so far right? Given that woolworth employees do not have their own work email, I don't see how they can check this.

    Anyone else got the call?

    • +2

Nope, no call here! I think that they gave up on the calls after they realised they'd need to call thousands of people, process thousands of sent invoices, etc. Also, a lot of actual employees don't have an official Woolworths email address.

I reckon they just settled on closing the loophole, but will likely honour the purchases. But it's still all just guessing until next Wednesday.

      • -1

Do you recon that I should remove my gumtree listings :)

  • -4

Could someone help me out with this offer?
I'm after the 4g 46mm watch. PM me I can't PM others since account is new. In Melbourne btw.

  • My quotas for everything in the store are showing zero available

  • +1

Samsung have updated quantities avaliable for wearables per account from 10 down to 2.

    ozbargained

    • Not for me :))

      • +1

        which company?

        • IT company

    • Rebel has only got 2 in the quota..
How did people get 10 wtf?

      • Was always 10 for me before this post lol

      • looks like samsung applied an official cap of 2 to everyone cause of this ozbargain listing lol

  • Still hoping someone can help me with the purchase of a 46mm, and a rose gold 42mm. Previous OzBargainers who said they could help have fallen through. I'm in Sydney CBD and would be really grateful if someone can assist.

    • Most accounts have a quota of 2..

      • Happy for even 1 :)

  • Have they changed the log-in page for Optus? When I try logging in with an Optus email address I get " Error: 500 - Internal Server Error

Uh oh, looks like something has gone wrong, sorry!

    Try this instead:"

    Anyone else?

    • Try a different browser. I had that issue on firefox after a whole bunch of experimenting with store logins.

      • Yep, all fixed now. Ordered 2 as I couldn't decide between 42mm and 46mm. Will sell the one I don't keep. Thanks OP!

        • +1

          That idea is…. perfect :o

  • +3

Samsung Store @ George St, Sydney CBD has these watches on demo if anyone would like to try before purchasing.

    • what… I walked in there about an hour ago and couldn't see it? Did they have them hidden out the back or something? I should've asked one of the staff but there wasn't a big crowd in the shop so I assumed they didn't have them on demo yet.

      • Yes, they haven't yet put it on display… You have to ask the staff

    • +1

The Samsung pop up at Macquarie Centre has them on display. Just tried the 46 mm one.

      • whats it like?

        • Really nice and the screen size is much better than the 42mm one. I've got small wrists and the size of the 46mm is fine for me. The guy showed me a few things like whatsapp notifications. The guy said I could buy it at the pop up on 4 Oct.

        • He also said something about the lte version draining battery when lte is turned off - said it constantly searches for a signal or something. Didn't really pay attention because I bought the Bluetooth version.

  • If anyone live in Adelaide and can assist with getting 40% off. Can you please PM me! Looking to get one! Happy to meet them in the city or elsewhere! Cheers

  • My order is not showing in my account order page. Money has been taking out from my credit card and order number has been confirmed. Should I be worried?

    • +1

      Yes

    • no you are fine, it takes a few minutes.

      • I purchased it yesterday.

        • did you get the email notification (receipt), if not just go back to the Samsung portal and click the chat-now pop up that appears in the bottem right, they answer instantly

          • @montynasser: Yeah received a confirmation email and an order number. However the Samsung account did not list the order that was made.

    • You need to go into the specific store you purchased it from to see it in the order page. If you got it from <company> store, you need to go to <company> store to see it - the general/global store won't show it. You're probably fine.

    • visit the EPP company version of the website you bought it from

dont just visit shop.samsung.com.au, read what i said in the original post

So to get this deal, one must a employee of the listed/partner companies AND use an email that's linked to it?
This is the only way of getting one?, as far as I can work out.

Anyone still willing/able to get one?, I'm in Melb, eastern Subs or CBD or surrounding areas.
And what would be the best way of doing so?

Anyone interested?, please let me know

    j

    • I'm sorry I didn't explain myself too well, I'm after 1 myself.
      j

  • Coles link dead.

    • Second that. Don't think any emails ever worked anyway. GG.

  • -2

Anybody in Melbourne able to assist in getting one 40% off please PM me.

    Happy to meet anywhere.

    Thanks,

    A.

  • -1

Sooooo…how are we doing? Is there any way in getting this done with hotmail or gmail at all?

    • +1

It would hardly be a partner program if you could isn’t it..

  • The 4G watch current device is tied with Telstra. IF other operator starts providing their service will we be able to use the same watch with any other operator in future.

    • I believe its just a generic eSim and right now it's a Telstra launch exclusive for the functionality. But I guess watch this space.

    • yes
just wait till the exclusive bullshit is over

  • -2

i used my private email to order two watches two separate orders and one of them turned preparing dispatch. finger crossed

    • How?

      • please advise

      • woolworths/gmail. I was one of the first people to order when the deal was posted

        • +2

how were you able to check status? without logging in from woolworths EPP, I can''t even see my order.
can't find it from https://shop.samsung.com/au/track-order either with the order number

          • -1

@googoogaga: Am also curious about this. Should we be expecting an email confirmation that they're preparing to dispatch the order?

          • @googoogaga: maybe he has a browser that never logged out of the EPP page?

          • @googoogaga: Its not finding my order number in there either. It would be nice if Samsung had a system that actually worked so I can see if my order is accepted or rejected. I have the confirmation email and they happily took the money out of my account

            • @too_much_boost: you need to be in the woolworth EPP page to see your order. Since the EPP is taken off, no one can see it unless they never closed that EPP page. Anyway, I am sure they cannot just cancel your order without notifying you either through email or a phone call.

  • Anyone in Canberra able to helpout? Want a 46mm LTE :-)

  • -2

Anyone able to help me out in Sydney :) Thanks!

  • -2

Looking to get one 4g 46mm. Willing to put $50 on top for the trouble. Sydneysiders.

  • Anyone from Melbourne who can help me out with a 46mm BT

  • What exactly are the difference between gear s3 and the Bluetooth version apart from looks and battery life.
Can anyone help me in that.
Any link for information would be helpful.

anyone from sydney can help with 42mm Bluetooth rose gold???

  • -4

Anyone still have a spare quota left in Vic/Melb?

I'm after the Bluetooth 46mm Silver version, pick up in Melb CBD or surrounding areas, or nearest to you.
Willing to pay $350 ($20? for the hassle) for it.

    thanks OP

    • +1

      I didn't realize the 42mm is cheaper at $499 vs $549 46mm (BT).
      Also the 46mm has a bigger battery, 472mAh vs 270mAh & screen size is 1.3 vs 1.2.

On venturebeat.com they state "The 46mm Galaxy Watch preserves the Gear S3’s 46mm height and 49mm width, but is a hair thicker at 13mm with a 63-gram weight".

And "The 46mm version will use 22mm bands and the 42mm version will use 20mm bands".

Just letting people know some info to help with their choice.

  • -3

Anyone able to supply one to me in Perth

  • Just received an email shipping confirmation on my 46mm Watch…
My postal address looked like it was missing a line in the email but I called them and all appears to be ok.

    • Nice is that from woolworths or?

      • +3

        Yes, from the woolworths deal.

        • AWesome. I just a had quick online chat and confirmed my order still valid and will be dispatched by 3rd of Oct.
He even said that its a Woolworths order too :)
Looks like all Woolworths order will be fulfilled in the end.

    • Talking about one warehouse to another?
Or does it specifically say it's shipping to "you", "now"?

      • +2

An SMS message with your tracking number will be send to your mobile shortly
If you have any questions, please refer to our FAQs
For Customer Service, please call 1300 362 603 (Option 5)
Thanks again for shopping with Samsung!

        • "This is confirmation that your order has been dispatched to shipped to address listed above"

          Engrish?
          I can't decipher that :-/

          • +1

@jalyst: I thought that too, but if you read it as:

This is confirmation that your order has been dispatched to "shipped to" address listed above

It makes some sense, not how I'd write it though.

            • @cashie: Sweet! It's express shipping IIRC too, isn't it?
If not today, then tomm. or 1st thing Mon, no?

I hope I get an email soon!!! :-D

              • @jalyst: Meant to be, we'll see soon enough I guess. ;)

    • woolworths?

      • Ah reading comprehension plz. He answered that question. ;)
