    Finally, a price worth trying…

  • +1

Not bad for 3 in a pack

  • feedback anyone? Love HD, too overpriced though. Harry's is a close second.

Very overated. Its not bad, but not $11 good. TBH not even for $5. I tried their peanut crunch one last night and rate connaisseurs as better.

      • cool, I'll try out their tiny mini sampler when it goes on sale then - cheers!

      • Yeah I tried the same variety I think. I'm always on the look-out for good peanut ice cream and these were not great. Thin choc coating and dry peanut butter in the ice cream, have had a lot better for a lot less.

      • TBH not even for $5

What would you call a fair price then?

    • I tried the peanut butter one and didn't like it. Too sweet. You only get 3 in a pack for $5 which is not that great value.

I prefer when Connoisseur sticks are half price. Those are better.

    • Mango raspberry is pretty delicious. Had one a few weeks ago.

    • What's Harry's? Where do you get it?

  • +2

    240ml? I'll pass..

  • +2

Not worth paying any more for this product. Possibly one of the worst price to taste ratios out of all the ice creams.

    • +10

This should be called price cream. I'll leave now.

  • Who actually paid $11 for this?

    • +1

it might be cheaper than an ice cream at a cinema

  • +4

Must just be getting upvotes from hungry people.

  • +1

Made in France? No wonder its expensive.

  • +1

Pizza and Haage Dazs to celebrate life tonight

  • +3

These things taste amazing, at this price I will choose it over Connoisseur

  • Who the f**k wants a 3 pack?

    • Threesomes.

    • +1

Childless couples where one of the couple is a bit of an eater. Or for single fat guys. Or regular people with self control.

  • +2

3 pack.. send it back to France for a credit, i think they have a packing error!

    se faire farcir!!

  • Is this better than Weis? Just curious here…

    • Nah Weis is way better

      • Thanks Kenny, so I prob won't give this a try.

  • Cool, my gf loves ice cream.

  • Weis is better

    • +1

And local… even if it is made by those dirty Queenslanders ;)

Edit: Apparently Unilever acquired them :(

  • Tried the PB, won't be buying again even at $5.
I rate Connoisseur over this brand any day.

  • Wowow! Haagen-Dazs! One of the best known international brand of ice cream. Sugar level be damned. I'm getting a 4 pack. Kudos to Coles for such a generous move.

    • Only 3 in a pack tho.

      • including the pack…aging

Saw these today and I was tempted but this brand is kinda meh to me so $5 still felt expensive especially since you only get 3 to a box.

  • Peanut Butter Crunch was also the same price at Coles Caversham WA

  • +1

Connoisseur is pretty good. But it needs to work harder to pretend to be European. lol

    Connoissuer:
Cream (30%), Skim Milk (Concentrate Or Solids), Water, Sugar, Glucose Syrup (Wheat), Hazelnuts (2%), Golden Syrup, Milk Solids, Cocoa Solids (1%), Dextrose Monohydrate, Brown Sugar, Thickener 91442), Vegetable Origin Emulsifiers [471 (Soy), 422 (Soy), 476], Vegetable Oil, Vegetable Gums (410, 440, 415), Murray River Pink Salt (0.1%), Flavours, Mineral Salt (339), Colours (150a, 150d), Salt.

    Haagen Daaz
Caramerl Ice Cream With Caramel Swirl (10%) And Salted Caramel Brittle (8%) Condensed Skimmed Milk, Fresh Cream, Sugar, Egg Yolk, Glucose Syrup, Butter, Dried Glucose Syrup, Condensed Whole Milk, Coconut Oil, Salt, Emulsifier: Sunflower Lecithin, Vanilla Extract, Gelling Agent: Pectins.

I respect Haagen Daaz.. way less 'colors', emulsifiers, gums, shitty oils, and 'flavors'.

Tried the mango and raspberry, had 2 today. Very nice, thanks OP.

  • Saw this today but was at full price in my local Coles.

  • This brand is actually American… Fancy name to sound fancy. Is this product actually made in France?

    • The brand is now owned by Nestlé. France is right next door to Switzerland, so I believe the claim that it is made in France. The Scandi name is made-up.

  • Still don't get why they don't stock the Matcha flavour tubs at Coles?! Not a single matcha flavour ice-cream from any brand (Halo top, Connoisseur….) is stocked in Melbourne supermarkets at the moment

    • The Connoisseur sticks and rubs that are matcha flavoured have been discontinued unfortunately. Try the Asian grocers for your matcha icecream fix.
